A Wolf In The City

All through Liana and Cole's visit to Elder Roki's house, neither of them spoke a word to each other. Each of them had unsettled thoughts in their head, and they were also trying hard to hold a candle to their physical closeness.

In Cole's mind, he was thinking about Erebus when he stumbled upon him and Liana. He hadn't been able to talk to Erebus about this as he had to leave with Liana to the first elder's house, and his mind felt so greatly unsettled.

He knew it would be a whole danger if it was Jaime's guards that shot down the falcon, as it contains information about Luke, and Jaime had to be the last person that must know that Alpha Luke was still alive.

Cole hadn't foreseen this earlier and he couldn't shake off the dreadful feeling in his heart that comes with the thought that Liana would be the first person Jaime aimed for if he ever finds out that her brother was still alive.
