Ch 29: Ran To Orlando

I wasn't sure how I managed it but I somehow got ahold of Veronica's phone whenever she walked away from us looking up wedding gowns for my forced marriage. Right way, I called for a taxi and ran out of the mansion by slipping out this open arch window.

The taxi came just in time and I told him where I wanted to go before he took off. The meter ranked up the cash by the miles. I wasn't sure how I was going to pay if Orlando wasn't at his dorm, but I'll figure that out later. I'm way too desperate at this point.

The wedding will come soon within the week. I have been planning this wedding with Mrs. Collin, Veronica, and Zoey, all this while. For the past eight days, I haven't seen Kai since after that embarrassing yet funny moment. Not seeing, him has been the best thing to happen. Well, other than getting out of that Collin mansion.

Less than an hour, I arrived at Orlando's, Alejandro's, and Zach's dorm. "Just give me a second, and I'll come back with your payment," I told the grumpy man.

He growled, snarling, "If you are not back by five minutes, I will be calling the cops!"

"Five minutes, got it!"

On that note, I shut the door. Then I ran inside, and up the flight of stairs. I got a few guys blowing me whistles since this was the dorm for the men, or I should say boys. I swear half of them should go back to Jr High. Most of them were just playing around since they knew I was Orlando's girl.

Within the middle of corridor, I went to their door, and beat on it several times. Finally, the door opened and I was greeted by a nicely set of sharp pecs and built eight-pack abs. I looked up seeing the gaped sea green eyes, staring at me.

"Victoria?" Alejandro was shocked to see me. "What are yo...I mean how..."

"I ran away!" I hurriedly answered without time to explain. "Please, quickly, I need to borrow thirty bucks for the taxi or else he's calling the cops on me!"

"I'll take care of it," Zach exclaimed, hustling past Alejandro while throwing his shirt on. We both let him through, and he ran down the hall leaving.

Alejandro tugged my hand in and shut the door. He hugged me tight, asking. "Are you ok?"

I held him back telling him. "Yes, I'm ok."

"Victoria!" Suddenly I heard Orlando behind me and I turned my heel and saw his shocked eyes.

He wasn't wearing a shirt and only had on a pair of shorts. Without even saying anything to him, I ran into his perfectly toned tricep arms. He hugged me tight and then we kissed deeply. Yet it felt strange to kiss him. Something wasn't sparking between us and I pulled away slowly.

Orlando cocked his eyebrow and asked. "What's the matter, babe?" He raked his fingers in my hair. "Did Kai hurt you?"

"No, Kai hasn't hurt me, he just..." I stopped, choking on my words to tell him what happened.

"What happened, Victoria?" Orlando asked, looking worried in his eyes and my heart broke into a million pieces.

"I-I..." I muttered hurt about how to tell him.

"I'll let you guys have some privacy," Alejandro said, returning to his bedroom down the hallway.

Orlando took both my hands asking. "Whatever happened Victoria you can tell me and will figure it out. I can promise you that."

He made this all too easy for me as a single tear rolled down my cheek. "I signed a marriage certificate and a contract with Kai" I ended up crying.

And Orlando dropped my hands and turned his back on me. I knew he was upset by the way he folded his one arm just merely under his chest and held his chin with the other.

"Orlando, I am so sorry..."

"Just please, Victoria." Orlando cut me off. "It's hard to think I am losing you to him."

I was shocked to hear him say such words. So I cycled around him and pulled his arms down. "Look at me Orlando!" I shout, getting him to pay attention. "I wasn't given a choice but I still ran away to be with you!"

Orlando formed a faint smile shaking his head and then he hugged me. "I'm sorry Victoria, I know this isn't your fault. I'm just scared you'll fall out of love with me and fall for Kai..." His words paused and his lips started to quiver upset when he gazed at me. "Kai... I-I can tell he kissed you by how you pulled away from me. You've never done that to me and it hurts. I'm guessing something happened between you and Kai?"

Tears poured out of my eyes and I cried. "I don't know what happened. I think they've been drugging me. Kai somehow seduced me and..."

"What!" Orlando yelled in full jealousy. "You slept with him whenever you never slept with me!"

"Orlando, no!" I implored. "Just please hear me out! I never slept with him! He kissed me and felt me up some but I never once slept with him!"

I wasn't sure if what I said had helped or not but I tried not to lie. I never wanted our relationship to be built on us lying to one another.

"Orlando, cut her a break!" Alejandro came out of his bedroom, shouting at his identical twin brother. "This is the second time she has escaped and ran to you, not to Kai! Victoria's right! Kai probably gave her some kinda date-**** drug. The side effects to that are known to cause confusion."

Orlando's jelly eyes tamed down and then he hugged me tightly. "I'm sorry, babe. I just never thought another man, especially Kai, would ever try coming between us."

I kissed his cheek and then said. "I told you I will never fall for Kai. My heart will always forever remain with you. I just don't know what we are going to do about the marriage certificate and the contract."

Still, holding me, Orlando said playing with my hair strands. "That will be tricky because it means you are legally engaged to him now. But I will talk to my father because by consent, we are also still engaged."

I baffled to hear this and swiped up my tears.

"In the meantime, let's forget about this and have some fun at the club tonight," Alejandro said, coming in to hug us. To help lighten up the mood.

"I have nothing to wear," I told them and they both chuckled at me.

"No, worries, Crystal is coming up. So you girls can go shopping," Alejandro said.

"Sounds like a plan," I giggled.

Suddenly the door opened, and Zach returned with a friend named Max. Max was a loudly spoken goofball and a ladies' man at that. Nevertheless, he was part of the gain.
