Ch 32: Heartbroken by Kai

Kai didn't say anything to his sleazy blonde and she walked away with her other trashy friends. Only the women I saw at Mr. Collin's mansion, including Ivan's wife Mia stayed here. All the outsider trashy ladies left to get drinks.

"Now that your blonde trash bag is gone, are you going to answer me, Kai?" I asked viciously, darting a nasty glare at him.

Kai grinned seemingly amused. "Am I to understand that you're jealous, Victoria?"

My face flared red to hear that he had the gall to ask such a stupid question. "Answer my question, Kai!" I shouted not even caring who was around.

Kai chuckled for a second. "If you would have read the contract, my love. You would've seen that you had already permitted me to see other women while we are engaged and after we are married."

"I'm not marrying you, Kai!" I retorted. "I will never marry a cheater!"

"I don't know about that. Aren't you the one that ran off again for me to find you kissing Orlando?" asked Kai.

I was dumbfounded on what to say, but Kai snickered and did the talking for me.

"Unlike me, there will be cruel consequences for you cheating on me!" Kai's voice darkened in a very menaced scowling tone.

Before I could say anything. Kai continued speaking. "Honestly Victoria, you don't seem to mind cheaters. Do you really think Orlando took off to talk with some friend just now? You don't think he's somewhere below seeking off behind your back to cheat on you at this very moment?"

Tears welled in my eyes. What Kai said was just mean and hurtful. I couldn't even think clearly. So I backed away and turned my heel, leaving. The pain in my heart and mind was too much for me to handle. Kai wasn't helping how I felt.

I went back to the table and looked up to see Kai staring at me from above. Far across the room, we gazed at each other. Till I saw the blonde returned and it looked as if Kai shooed her way. At least that's what it appeared from down here. Likely, that isn't what happened but then Kai stared at me again. It felt weird to feel my heart cry to go back to him. But I fought this strange wailing beneath me. However, I felt broken to think that Kai has likely been with other women. That's likely why he hardly comes home. Like Orlando, Kai's extremely good-looking. Even around his shades, I could see that. It's pretty clear the women came all too easy for Kai and I shouldn't care! Yet I didn't understand why it hurt.

"What's up, girl!" Crystal comes crashing to the table bend over. Just across the table, her breath reeked of alcohol.

Thank goodness, Zach was with her.

"Zach, how much has she drank?" I asked him to notice she was wasted.

"I guess one too many," Zach chuckled. "I'm going to need to take her home."

"Oh, no baby!" Crystal drunk babbled. "I-I wanna g-go back to your p-p lace and make wild l-lovvee!" She swiped her pointer finger down his nose. Crystal was trying to be sexy but it was such an epic fail on her part. Alejandro and Orlando came back at that time, hearing their cousin. Most of us tried not to laugh.

"Go take her back to our dorm, Zach," Alejandro said çhuckling.

Zach only nodded and picked her up over his shoulder. Crystal giggled like a kid who had too much candy and they left.

Orlando took a seat next to me and this feminine perfume suddenly hit my nose. The second he leaned in to kiss me but I turned my face so he kissed my cheek. And I found Kai's glaring eyeballs at us. My mind has to be playing tricks on me. I know Orlando isn't a cheater.

"Hey, what's wrong, babe?" Orlando asked me sweetly.

"Nothing," I said, trying not to sound bitter.

Orlando didn't get the chance to ask me anything else. Max started talking to him. The guys all started talking and making their normal jokes.

But all of a sudden their voices began to drift. The music changed over and I realized it was happening. My mind was traveling between past and present. It took me to Orlando's, Alejandro's, and Zach's dorm room. I was listening to an entirely new type of music that was more bouncy compared to rave music. That is playing at the club my present self would be at. I saw the eight strippers going down to their Victoria Secret bras and thongs. The guys were having a blast watching and cheering as horny dogs drooling away like morons. It was repulsive to be here. I wanted to go back but I was stuck in this moment.

Suddenly this one stripper that had bright long bouncy curly red hair passed through my body. She wore a red laced bra and matching thong. I saw her go to either Alejandro or Orlando. No, it had to be Alejandro, I thought to see them kissing tongue and all. His face turned as he took her hand and went down the hall. I ran and tried to keep up because I had to know. Since I didn't see his eyes to know which twin she went to. Nor did I know which room they were going in.

This was the first time I pushed all my limits to break through the gravitational pull between times. My head hurt to do it but I did it anyway and followed. So I kept pushing forward and ran. The harder I pushed the more painful it got. But I had to be sure this wasn't Orlando. I concentrated hard and the next thing I knew. My body leaped over the living room and I found myself staring down the hallway. I saw them kissing but I couldn't see who she was with Alejandro or Orlando. And I was losing concentration...

"Victoria!" I started to fade back into the present time. The rave music was blasting in my ears. And I felt this liquid dripping from my nose. I touched under my nostril and found blood on my fingers.

"Babe, you have a bloody nose," Orlando shouts while putting a napkin on my face.

I looked around dazed for a moment and I felt hurt. To come out of the time gap without answers.

"Hey, are you alright you zoned out?" Alejandro asked me standing across the table. I looked around him and saw Kai was still there with his friends watching me.

"Let's get you back to my dorm, baby," Orlando said. "It looked like you were about to have a seizure."

Alejandro scanned his eyes around glaring suspiciously as he said. "Yeah, let's do that."

I wasn't sure what that was about but I didn't argue with them and left.
