Ch 95: Memory Triggered

"Mmm..." I hummed feeling those water jets massage the right area I needed on my back.

"Feel good?" Kai's voice softly asked me.

"Oh, yeah," I answered him in a mere whisper with my eyes closed. "After that long flight, this is what I needed."

All I heard was Kai chuckling lightly before he inquired. "Sit to the front of me."

"Huh," I murmured, opening my eyes to stare at him next to me.

"Sit to the front of me so I can give you a massage," He repeated sweetly, having a delicate smile.

I just did as he offered and moved my body to the front of his torso between his knees. Although I tried to make sure there was space between our waist to avoid feeling his manhood.

"Ohh!" My body jumped when I felt his bugle poke into my bare butt cheek. Well, so much for avoiding his underwear sea dragon. I thought as Kai chuckled from noticing my reaction.

He crouched forward and kissed my left cheek before whispering. "Don't mind beastie, he just can't resist himself from loving you."

I did my best not to giggle at his sexual remark. I honestly couldn't tell if he was being romantic or perverted. Either way, I didn't bother to add a comment. Rather, I just closed my eyes as Kai's magical hands started to deeply massage my shoulders.

"Mmmm!" It felt so good. Better yet it felt amazing enough that I melted to his tender hands caressing me. Before too long he added these rich-smelling oils. The fragrance smelled lovely and sweet as he applied it to my naked skin.

"Feels better now, huh?" Kai's soothing voice whispered into my right ear.

"Mmm, it honestly does," I utterly hummed with a whisper.

"I've always imagined what it would feel like to bathe with you, my love. While I lather you in these finest oils." Kai stopped his words to kiss my left nape side. "Your skin is much smoother than how I dreamt about you and your scent is more addicting compared to what I had imagined..."

My mind blacked out into a flashback...

["My dear love.

More times than often, I would imagine us being here together in this bath, watching the sunset. While we toast to each other in the riches-made wines. Then I lather your smooth skin with the finest oils. Closing my eyes, I could only imagine how beautiful you would smell..."]

His words suddenly triggered this memory I had forgotten from reading that rolled-up papyrus to Tom back in Egypt. My body moved forward from remembering the beginning part of the papyrus.

"What's wrong, my love?" Kai's voice faltered off in worry.

I didn't answer him right away from staring out at the bay. To notice the sun wasn't fully setting just yet but it was nearing closer to nightfall approaching

"Victoria..." Kai tenderly uttered my name and then he wrapped his arms around my navel and planted many kisses on my left neck side. Till his lips left one on my cheek. "Did I say something to upset you?"

"No..." I finally spoke gently. "Your words just triggered one of my memories during my excavation in Egypt."

"Ohh, why don't you tell me about it?" Kai sounded fascinated.

I partly turned my neck to face him closely. "It was this rolled papyrus that was in this amphora. That was inside the ruins of this bath. What you said sounded similar to what this Pharaoh had written on that papyrus."

"Is that so," Kai said more intriguingly rather than asking me. It was slightly unusual and I didn't know how to respond to him.

Most of my memories faded from that excavation from all the trauma I went through. It's still hard to comprehend Tom, Donny, Susie, along with everyone else are gone. Still to this very day, I don't know who murdered them. Oftentimes, I feel Rex did but I didn't have any compelling proof that he and his gang did. And Rex seemed to gloat about murdering my dear friend Elena. So it's hard to say what happened in Egypt because he wrote a comparable message in Elena's blood from inside my bedroom at the doom. Makes me question if Rex could have done it.

"Victoria, my love." Kai's angelic voice pulled me from my mind. "Don't be sad. Not on the first near evening of our honeymoon."

"I'm not sad," I prevaricate. "I was just reminiscing about my time in Egypt."

"Tell me about it?" He asked seemingly interested. "What did you think about that Pharaoh?"

I smiled softly, "I felt bad for him because he seemed to be set about finding this girl he loved. He talked so oddly like he never met her but instead dreamt about her. It's just sad that he left many clues for her to find him. All for most of his clues along with his city and palace to turn into ruins. It's sad to think he died never finding her."

"What makes you think he never found her or that he would care that his city and palace had fallen into ruins, over his love for her?" Kai asked and his question rather stumped me as to why he would ask this.

"I never saw anything to say he found her is why," I replied before asking. "Why do you ask such unusual questions?"

Kai chuckled softly. "I would say true love prevails no matter how long it takes."

"You sound like a hopeless romantic like that Pharaoh," I giggled teasingly.

Kai chuckled and then spun my body entirely forward to straddle him face to face between my spread legs. I wrapped my arms around his neck as the tip of our noses touched. From under the water, I could feel his member rubbing up against the garden between my legs.

"I am one," Kai seductively admitted as he brushed his fingers in my hair. "Let me make love to you before dinner."

"I don't believe I have the energy," I whispered breathlessly when I feel his breath airing on my neck before he kissed my skin.

"I'll help you," his voice softly vibrated up my flesh.
