Ch 98: Worst Dinner Date

The man stood the ice bucket in the center of our table. And Tracy set this black bottle decorated with rubies in front of Kai. It looked so much like the one he drinks back at home. Even Rose drinks the same bottle and numerous amounts were served at our wedding.

"I found your ruby bottle," Tracy excitedly said with a lovely voice. "I must say I never knew we had this type of drink."

"I'm not surprised," Kai said as she set both glasses on the table for him.

Yeah, it's pretty clear, Tracy didn't get me a glass along with my water!

"Tracy, didn't you get enough glasses for the Miss?" The man that came with her asked.

"Oh, I suppose, I didn't," Tracy said sarcastically without diligence as a waitress. "Why don't you go do that for me while I pour the gentleman his drink."

Seriously! Now I'm getting irritated with Tracy.

"Certainly, Tracy," the man complied.

"May I also have a glass of water?" I asked, looking at the man since Tracy is too enthralled with Kai.

"Why certainly, Miss," he said before he bowed and walked away.

I rolled my eyes and watched Tracy pour Kai a glass of red wine in one glass. Afterward, she was about to pour the ruby bottle of wine or juice into his other glass. Until Kai put his hand over the cork and stopped her when her palm touched his hand.

"I'll do this one myself," Kai said with a charming ascent about his aura.

And her palm didn't remove from resting on his hand. Wonderful! Now Kai is flirting with her and she is flirting back with him! Their sight is glued on each other right in front of me!

I huffed loudly enough that it broke their eye contact toward me like they forget I've been sitting here watching!

Kai's right lip curved up in a cunning grin. I couldn't believe he was doing this on purpose!

"Ahem," Kai cleared his voice and she took her hand away blushing bashfully As the waiter came back with a tray holding an empty glass and my water.

Tracy said with a flirty smile as he served me, "I'll go check on your food."

Then she and the man assisting her sauntered out of the room.

"Is something wrong?" Kai asked such a stupid question.

"It's our Honeymoon and you're flirting with another woman!" I snapped. "You could at least save it for whenever I am not around!"

Kai chuckled like I regaled him and then he stupidly asked. "Am I to understand you are jealous?"

Now I was fumed! I stood up from my chair to leave as Kai did too. Before I had any chance to realize what happened while I was walking away. Kai snatched my wrist and pulled me into his arms and spun us into a cycle.

"What are you doing?" I hissed as he effortlessly stole my free hand and started to slow dance with me.

"Dancing with you, my love," he fondly resolved like he hasn't been flirting with another woman in front of me. "Do you honestly think I'd be interested in Tracy whenever you are the most beautiful woman to ever exist?"

"I-I..." I was astounded when he cut my words off with a kiss.

Now he was making it hard to stay mad at him. He even winked at me before tenderly kissing me again.

"Trust me Victoria, soon you will know how much I love you," he whispered as we danced.

His words warmed my heart that it suffocated that anger simmering inside me. Time froze as we gazed at one another while dancing to soft playing music.

Up until Tracy returned with our food. Kai pulled my chair out for me as she placed one plate of steak, with mashed potatoes, and buttery green beans at Kai's end.

"That would be my wife's plate," Kai snapped at her!

She jumped at his sharp voice. Kai has that talented characteristic that will either captivate you or bite you like a cobra whenever you least expect it.

"I'm sorry," Tracy whimpered ashamedly and gave me the plate whenever Kai sat down.

"Ready our dessert and that will be all I need," Kai rudely dismissed her with harsh words as his hand shooed her away. She departed on demand without saying anything.

"Are you not eating?" I asked since he hadn't once eaten on the plane or even here. Other than eating that unique cake at the wedding, he hasn't eaten.

He picked up the bottle and said while pouring it into his empty glass. "No, this drink and my dessert are all I'll need."

"Maybe this would be a good time to talk about your drinking problem." I addressed but Kai didn't take me seriously since he chuckled. "I mean it, Kai! You drink too much and I want it to stop!"

"Victoria, whenever you sleep, I eat. I just don't eat much because I have a stomach disorder. If I overeat I get sick. This drink is specially formulated to help my disorder is all," Kai claimed.

"I didn't know that," I wasn't sure if I should believe him but the look in his eyes appeared honest.

I guess there is a lot I need to learn about Kai. Before I could say something this gorgeous blonde walked in, wearing a fancy body-tight red long gown and a white rabbit fur coat. Two strong-looking men came in with her.

Kai suddenly got up and then came over to kiss me. "I'm sorry, my love. I need to speak with someone real quick."

Just like that, he walked off with the other woman and likely her bodyguards.

For the time being, I sat here quietly and finished my steak. In all that time, Kai hadn't returned. Tracy came until she turned back and left since she didn't see Kai. I huffed loudly and got out of my seat. While I am waiting I figured I'll use the ladies' room.

I walked back to the more lively section of the restaurant. Everyone was laughing and having a good time. Well, everyone aside from me. Honestly, I wanted to go back to the room.

"Talk about the worst dinner date I've ever had," I grumbled to myself, annoyed, walking about while in deep thought.

Orlando would have never abandoned me on a date. My heart is so broken from thinking about him. I missed him so much but I am so hurt to know he's cheated on me. According to the photos Kai had, he cheated on me more times than that. Crash!!!!
