"Oh, my, gosh!" Gabby cheerily clapped her hands like something was wrong with her head. "I am so jealous! Victoria, you are so lucky to go there for your honeymoon! Rome-Rome, will you take me to Rio for our honeymoon!"
I giggled next to her in the backseat of Rome's skyline. Only this car was lime green over the blue one that he normally drives. And I'm not sure what happened to his blue skyline.
Nonetheless, Rome was driving us to the movie theater. Kai was in the passenger seat. Occasionally rubbing his hand across his forehead. I could tell Rome's date named Gabby was getting on Kai's nerves. And Rome was being his typical self.
"Anything for you, baby," Rome replied to Gabby all cheery.
He was surely using her since she was beautiful with blonde hair. However, she might be the reason why men make blonde jokes and the name Gabby certainly fits her well because she hasn't once stopped talking.
"Oh, I love you Rome-Rome!" She chimed and tickled her pink manicured fingernail on his nape.
Rome smirked, enjoying her attention. Meanwhile, Kai sighed in this aggravated breath but I giggled because I thought this was funny. And despite, Gabby being your typical dumb-blonde, she was friendly.
I'd imagine some guys would love to be around her because of her looks. Until they'd likely ditch her because she has that squeaky girly-girly voice that never once quit. And not to be rude but she wasn't exactly the brightest either.
"Why are you so grumpy!" Gabby jokingly poked Kai's shoulder and I giggled like crazy to see Kai shift over to the door.
"He's not grumpy," I said, touching Kai's other shoulder for a second while I noticed his tension softened once I did that. "He's just tired from work."
Rome deeply chuckled to hold back from outwardly bursting. I'm getting the hint he set this date up only to deliberately annoy Kai.
"Oh, really!" She beamed her bright blue-gray eyes. "What kinda business do you have? My daddy has a few powerful estate offices and works a lot in the stocks."
"Kai runs a few businesses..." I paused my sentence because I wasn't entirely sure what the Collin family did aside from what Kai shared with me. Their large industry ranged from stocks, estate, hotels, shipment, politics, and the list went on with the power the Collin family and even the Mill family had.
"This is Kai Collin, baby," Rome pridefully finished my sentence since I couldn't figure out what else to say.
"Shut up!" Gabby squealed jovially. "You're related to Mr. Collin and the famous supermodel Mrs. Collin! Then Chester Collin and the famous actress and model Veronica Wesley-Collin!"
"Yes that's him," Rome gleamingly said while Kai huffed annoyed. "Mr. and Mrs. Collin are Kai's parents and Chester and Veronica are his older siblings."
"Oh... My...Gosh..." Gabby squealed with her hands flinging about. "We've been dating for three days Rome-Rome and you never told me you knew the Collin family!"
Gabby was completely freaked out to hear this news. While she was still squealing about it. I was sitting next to her in bafflement to hear. Rome's only been seeing her for three days and she's already talking about marriage and calls him Rome-Rome for a pet name!
Maybe the word clueless doesn't best describe Gabby. Perhaps she is just crazy in the head with a sweet girly personality.
"I've grown up with Kai because my family has always worked for him. I'm Kai's and Victoria's bodyguard and his advisor," Rome proudly declared.
And Gabby was still freaking out. "Oh... my...goodness! Oh please Kai, can I get an autograph!"
She went diving into her purse as I saw Kai's back shoulders clench from how vexed he was getting with Gabby.
"How about I get you that on another day," I offered, stopping her from pulling out a pen and piece of paper.
"Oh, you're the sweetest Victoria," Gabby smiled and then asked my husband. "Anyways, why has your name only been recently known, Kai?"
Still, Kai refused to answer, so I intervened. "He's from an isolated island and likes his privacy."
"Oh, that makes sense," Gabby cluelessly said just when Rome pulled into the theater's parking lot.
He found a good parking spot and the guys let Gabby and me out of the backseat to head in. Then Rome and Kai paid for our tickets and we walked up to the center behind the large ticket booth.
Tons of people were around to get food and soft drinks. I could tell Kai wasn't happy about that. Even if he tried to hide it behind his sunglasses, he's never once taken off since we picked Gabby up this evening.
"Why don't you ladies go get us some popcorn or whatever," Rome suggested as he handed me some cash from his wallet. "Kai and I will get the drinks"
Considering how Rome's date isn't all there in the head. I can see why he gave me the money over her.
"Sounds good, will meet you guys outside the theater the movie is playing in," I said and then Kai kissed me before we got in line for popcorn and whatever else we'd like.
~~~
"You best get Gabby to shut up or else I'm going to drink her until she's dead!" Kai hissed in Rome's left ear as they walked far enough away so the ladies couldn't hear them.
"Awe, don't you like her?" Rome teasingly whispered as they walked around others. "I was thinking about turning her on the blue moon."
"She's not welcome to join my clan," Kai grumbled lowly in Rome's ear when they got in line. Rome couldn't stop laughing at Kai's grumpy stern face.
~~~
Right on time, we met up with the guys and found a quiet middle for the perfect view to watch the action pack movie. I sat between Kai and Rome. And Gabby. Well, Rome made sure to sit her on his right far away from Kai. I could tell past those shades, he was still being cranky.
"Are you going to be able to see the movie with those sunglasses on?" I leaned over asking him softly.
"Yup, I can see just fine," Kai whispered as the movie was just starting the previews.
Rome, Gabby, and I started pigging out on popcorn, chips, and some candy bars.
"Do you want some popcorn?" I whispered, asking Kai.
Through the dim lighting, he smiled at me. "No, I'm good, my love," he said softly before he pecked my lips. I smiled and continued eating the bucket of popcorn.
