Adventurer’s Guild Master

Madison led Enzo through the doors and into the main room of the adventurer's guild before taking him to another receptionist. It was the same lady she took him to last time.

"Atlas is back, Sarah, but this time he wants to sell health potions to the guild. However, he claims they are low grade, so you may want to get the guild master." She told the other receptionist, Sarah.

"Alright, I will go get him." Sarah responded.

She then left through a door that had a stairway behind it and came back a few minutes later with a very well built man in his late 30's.

[Guild Master]

[Baron Fireheart]

[Level 107]

"Are you the gentleman claiming to be in possession of low grade health potions?" Baron asked in a deep voice while emitting a dangerous aura from his body.

"Yes Mr. Fireheart, I have found a way to make low grade health potions." Enzo answered confidently.

He had no reason to be afraid of the man's attitude and aura as he was telling the truth.

"May I see them?" He asked skeptically.

"Sure."

Enzo took out one potion bottle and handed it to the guild master.

Baron took the bottle and closely inspected it for a minute before handing it back.

"I won't ask how you did it because I know you probably won't tell me."

Enzo gave him a smile that said he most definitely would not be telling him.

Baron continued, "But, that is a great invention and I will offer you 50 silver coins per bottle."

"150 silvers." Enzo immediately countered.

There was no way he was going to just take the first and lowest offer on something that could make him very rich if its potential was as high as he assumed it to be.

"80 silvers." Baron countered his counter.

"170 silvers."

Enzo knew he could go at a max of 3 gold, but even he found that unreasonable so he didn't plan on it.

"Fine, 1 gold coin is as high as I'll go."

"Deal."

Enzo and Baron shook hands to seal the deal.

He was perfectly fine with just 1 gold coin from the start, but he needed Baron to go up to that number so he used negotiation tactics to get him to do so.

At 1 gold coin a piece, Enzo will be making 10 gold coins for every 50 silvers he spends on ingredients.

"I only have 10 bottles as of right now, but after you pay me I will be able to make as many more as you would like."

"I will gladly take as many as you can make. I promise you that this potion will sell extremely fast here. Many adventurers hate paying so much money for medium grade health potions just to heal minor wounds. I can't tell you how many times I myself have been in a situation where I needed to use a health potion to keep going but it wasn't an injury serious enough to warrant a medium grade potion." Baron said.

"Okay, I will take your word for it. For now we can do upfront payment if that is okay with you, but after a few days I will be okay with weekly payments." Enzo offered.

He knew if the guild master did indeed plan on buying his product in bulk, he might not be able to pay him upfront at some point so it would be smarter to just offer weekly payments now.

"You're a smart one, Atlas, I like you." Baron said with a smile.

"I will take you up on that offer. Now, let's seal the deal."

[Would you like to sell 10 Low Grade Health Potions to Baron Fireheart for 10 gold coins? Yes/No]

Enzo selected "Yes" and the coins were put into his inventory while the potions were taken out. Enzo assumed the NPCs have some kind of inventory as well because the potions just completely disappeared.

"Alright, I will be back soon with more." Enzo said.

"Okay, you can just sell them to Madison. I will give her the money to make the transactions."

"It was a pleasure doing business with you guild master." Enzo shook his hand once more.

"You as well Atlas."

Enzo then left the adventurers guild and went back to the alchemist guild.

He used 5 gold coins to buy 500 containers so that he wouldn't run out of them any time soon, hopefully.

The other 5 gold coins were used to buy 10 portions of the ingredients he needed.

Enzo now had 14 portions in total, that meant he could make 140 potions before he needed to buy more.

'This get rich quick scheme almost feels like cheating…'

If Enzo was able to complete all 140 potions in one day, then he could say he made 140 gold coins all in one day. That is worth $14,000 USD in real world money!

Enzo knew this method would not always work, so he got to concocting as soon as he could. He was able to easily figure out how to make the low grade potions, so what is stopping the other alchemist players from figuring out the same thing? The answer is their own intelligence and imagination.

When the other players figured out about this easy money making method, they will most likely pounce on it just as quickly as Enzo did. So, he not only needs to make as much money as possible before then, but also make sure his foundation is set up.

'If I can build a good foundation with a well known shop in the city, people will want to shop at my store even if other people are selling the same thing.'

The principle was simple, he may have to lower the prices to compete with the market once it happens, but hopefully the name of Enzo's future shop will have spread enough to circumvent the bigger problems of having increased competition.

He will still make less money, but hopefully he will still make money unlike many other players and even NPCs who will find out about it too late.
