The second book in this series is out, it is titled "Rise of the Seven Sins: The Gluttonous King Slime". You may have to search it up for now instead of going straight from my profile as the novel was just uploaded. I will only be doing 1 chapter a day for a while because I want to keep going with 2 chapters a day on this one. I hope you all enjoy it.

"Good job everyone. Let's get this thing into the water." Ivan said.

'This thing is massive.' Enzo thought as he finally looked up at the full thing.

The ship was much bigger than Enzo thought it would be and it only took a few hours to build.

It was almost as large as a real pirate ship at 85 feet long and 20 feet wide.

Enzo expected them to just be able to build a large row boat with sails on it, not a small ship.

There were three sails attached to the boat. One large sail in the middle and a smaller one on each end of the boat.

There were still openings for oars in the second floor of the ship, but the group would only need them to get out into the open water until the sails could be used.

There were a few other groups who noticed what they were doing halfway through and decided to build ships of their own.

Two of the groups had already launched their boats into the water because they were much smaller, hence they took less time to build.

Enzo went to the back of the boat with the rest of the group and started pushing the boat off the launch they built.

The launch was just an angled platform built with wood that would make it easier to slide the ship into the water.

It took a lot of effort, but it was possible because not only were all 8 of them pushing the ship, but all of them had high strength stats now.

"Push!"

"Ugghhhh!"

"We got this guys!"

"One more big push on three!"

"One!"

"Two!"

"THREEEEE!"

The ship slid into the water and everyone hopped on.

There was rope in the ship but they had forgotten to tie it to the ship and drop it down so they had to jump on.

The ship also had a fully functional steering and sail system thanks to Ivan's designs, but that meant a captain had to be chosen.

"So, who is going to steer this thing?" Enzo asked.

"..."

All 7 other passengers on the ship turned to Enzo and looked at him with a deadpan stare.

"What?" He asked.

"Come on bro, we all know who the leader of this group is…" Ivan said.

"Since when did I become the leader??"

"Well, you just kind of started leading and we followed." Vincent said with a shrug.

"They don't mean it in a bad way. We all just think you're a natural leader and have done a good job so far. That means there's no reason to choose anyone else at the moment." Juliet told him.

"Oh." Enzo said simply.

He hadn't realized that he was leading the group, but now that they said something about it he could see how he was doing so.

None of the other members of the group, even the new ones, had any objections to Enzo being the leader either. They were new to this friend group so they felt they had no say just yet, but even so they wouldn't have disagreed with the rest.

Enzo walked over to the wheel and started guiding the boat in the direction of the island. The island was in the northeast direction, but they were currently facing northwest.

"Turn the sails a little bit to the left!" Enzo commanded.

"That's the wrong way!" Ivan shouted back.

Turning the sails to the left would make them face away from the island, so Ivan was confused.

"The wind is going northwest! We can still go northeast with the sails pointed northwest!" Enzo replied.

The group started turning the sails after hearing Enzo's explanation.

The sails caught the wind and started making the ship speed up.

The ship leaned a little bit to the left because of the conflicted direction of the udder and the sails, but still kept moving.

"Festus, Ivar, CerealKiller, and Eevie go work the oars for a bit!" Enzo commanded.

The wind wasn't offering enough power to pull them out into the open sea, so he needed them to use the oars for a bit to push the ship out.

It took less than 10 minutes for the group to finally reach the open sea.

Ivan went down to gather the rest afterwards since their work was no longer needed.

"You all can rest."

It would take a while to reach the island at this rate so there was no need to have everyone constantly standing up and working the whole time.

Enzo himself sat down near the wheel and looked at the island in the distance.

It was slowly becoming bigger, but he estimated it would take at least 3 hours to reach.

"Be on the lookout for monsters in the water. I have a feeling there's gonna be a damn kraken or something." Enzo said.

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well." Pepper responded.

"I hope not." Bella mumbled.

She was standing only a few feet away from Enzo so he was able to hear her mumble. She seemed to be somewhat shy in front of everyone else so she stuck with Enzo most of the time.

"Why?" He asked her.

He knew why it would be a bad idea to get into a fight now, but he wanted to hear her answer as well.

She looked away from the island and over to him.

"We have no one with skills that are applicable in the water, and we don't even have cannons on this ship." She responded.

Enzo nodded his head.
