Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Two years prior, Linda had been out walking through her own neighborhood. Linda was a beautiful woman for her age. She

was ten years younger than Samuel, but her long grey hair revealed that she was aging. She was quiet spoken and completely satisfied with her life. Her bond with Samuel had kept her the beautiful woman she was. Inside and out. She walked gracefully down the sidewalk, admiring the scenery when a long black car pulled

up alongside her. Two men jumped out of the back seat and

grabbed her, forcing her into the car. She protested, but couldn't get a word out of the two on each side of her or the one driving. She cried out to Samuel.

The car rushed to the airport where a plane was waiting.

They flew directly to Washington D.C. Linda finally arrived at some unknown building where she was ushered inside and immediately forced to undergo a vast array of testing.

Linda had arrived at the Delta Research Foundation. Its

preoccupation was the study of psychic research. The foundation was well funded, secretly, from the U.S. Government, as the information the foundation produced was .shared with several branches of the government, including NASA, the CIA and the U.S. Air Force.

The foundation was able to uncover the existence of Samuel and Linda with the aid of three psychics they had acquired. The psychics told them that it would be highly dangerous to approach Samuel, but that they could acquire Linda and learn

a great deal from her. The psychics had earlier tried to reach into Samuel's psych, but when they got near him, they reeked with horror. The doctors of the foundation were also informed that to evade Samuel, they would have to keep Linda constantly on the move. The psychics knew this much but they were by no means aware of just how dangerous Samuel could be or the extent of his abilities.

Linda had finished her initial testing and was now confronted by

several doctors of psychology. She ignored every question,

but mentally, she continued to give Samuel the feeling that

she was frightened but unharmed.

The foundation was well prepared for this rare opportunity.

They were excited. They had already seen some of the wonders the

psychics were able to perform through Linda and they had prepared a

large plane equipped with an extensive assembly of all types of

scientific gadgetry.

with Linda's refusal to talk, she was escorted straight

to the airport where she boarded the plane, all ready for takeoff

Back at the foundation, the doctors and scientist were amazed with

Linda's medical and scientific analysis. Her EKG was perfectly consistent. Unheard of in any other human. The cat-scan showed patterns never seen before. Oh, and her heart. There was no sign of radioactivity, but her heart was surely emitting something unlike anything they had ever registered on all of their instruments. They were surely fascinated and the analysis had just begun.

Linda was treated very nicely, once aboard the plane. There was a select crew of varying professionals aboard along with many different species of animals. While studying Linda, they were going to record the responses the animals made during different phases of analysis.

In the first few days of almost continuous flying, Linda cooperated indignantly. But one day, she was allowed into the cockpit, just to indulge her imagination. The planes compass spinned from a southern heading to an almost eastern heading. When she left the cockpit, the correct heading returned. This discovery was noted and soon, more equipment was added to the plane, but they were not satisfied with the new information derived until six months later when the information delivered to the foundation was finally deciphered. They had discovered that if the plane should follow the compass affected by Linda, They could connect certain instruments to Linda's entire body, especially her heart, and take new readings which would be

synchronized with a mapping camera attached to the planes belly

to take continuous pictures of the surface of the world below. Their

theory was correct. They were not only able to chart minerals and oil above ground but below ground as well. All

Their efforts were now focused on the discovery of almost the entire makeup of the earth. Their main pursuits were the discoveries of the more precious assets. They charted unknown strains of gold and silver. More importantly, they discovered every unknown oil field on American soil.

This routine had gone on for months, but Linda's separation from

Samuel had taken away her strength. Her health was failing, as was

Samuel's. The psychics had indicated that Samuel was

now unable to travel, so Linda was taken back to the foundation. The

doctors were afraid that she might not live very long and there was

still one experiment they wanted to perform.
