She is less agitated and less anxious now. She is happier and laughing most of the time, well, because of my silly and corny jokes I think. But we were able to go through Leila's depression well.

Before, I wondered what if I didn't meet Leila at the luncheon or what if I stayed away from her, right. I thought of that but I didn't think that I would live without her anyway, so I decided to come back and help her get well with her illness. I found out that Leila is sick and she needed to do chemotherapy and I accompany her every time. Her bionic legs are still working fine even her eyes but the metal that are placed inside her tissues have been messing it up and causing great pain and cancer to her body mostly her thighs and brain.

Leila is asleep in my arms and I felt so proud of myself for making her happy. And I am delighted to see her change. She is no longer moody or crazy, angry and jealous but loving, sweet and nurturing. She took care of me, feed me and talked with me, telling me everything about her, her feelings and her likes, dislikes and opinions, ideas on many things such as politics, news, nature, people and the world. I love the Leila now more than before, she has grown so much that she became the new version of herself in a good way. She learned how to ride a motorbike, paint and live in a remote place like where we are, which I am yet to ask where the hell are we anyway?, I thought to myself when Leila woke up and kissed my lips. I kissed her back and asked where we are. After all this time, we were just at the back of their mansion in New York and this was the farm, the land she bought for herself and me if we saw each other again, which we did and now it's mine too, the land I mean. My eyes grew big and hugged Leila because I love the place and I would really want to live here if given the chance. And maybe spend my days after my retirement. I have all the money in the world that even if I spend it all it would take a hundred more years for me to dispense such amount of riches.

Leila smiled at me and then her face changed, from smiles to frown, then to shouting that her chest hurts. So, I told her to breathe in and out, and called for help. Lillian answered and I asked her to call 911 to our address and the ambulance arrived to pick Leila up after 15 minutes. I didn't know how to drive a motorbike but I learned just today so I can pick and deliver Leila at the drop off point which took us about thirty minutes to make it there. We did and the ambulance took Leila, I put her clothes on while I only had a top and baggy pants without underwear since we were all out having fun in that place of paradise when this incident happened. So, I didn't think this would eventually happened anyway.

At the hospital, the doctor said that Leila lacked rest and that her red blood cells is down and needed to be get blood transfusion immediately. So, we stayed there for a week, until Leila is well to go home. Peter came to visit but Leila didn't want to talk to him. I spoke with him and he thanked me for taking care of Leila. He was sorry of the things he did to me, but all is forgiven and I hugged him since he is still family, since Leila is his cousin.

Lillian and Melvin came to meet Leila. She was so happy to see Lillian and meet her son-in-law after all. I see a happy family in that hospital room. I came in and hugged Lillian, Melvin and kissed Leila on the lips which made Lillian cry since at long last, Leila and I got back together but until when will this love last, I hope, forever, too.

The doctor didn't say a lot but that Leila needs to rest and as much as possible she needs to be somewhere quiet and less stressful. And I found a wonderful place for her to stay in a while until she recovers. Lillian and Melvin said their goodbye to Leila and promised to visit them after their honeymoon in Morocco in a couple of weeks. Lillian seemed distress and worried so I assured her that Leila will be okay. And that I will make sure of that by personally at her beckon call, so I decided to file my early retirement from my companies. Though, I still handle most of my shares and my accounts online, my managers will be the ones to manage everything including sending my profit in all of my corporations here and abroad. Beca became one of my managers in London along with her colleagues who also moved up the ladder. Lillian is the Head of Operations all over the globe and I also hired Melvin to be Head of Sales and Marketing. Both of them had been good and exceptional in their jobs that needed to be compensated, and that's what I did to make them realize that I see their efforts which aren't wasted but well appreciated.

Then, I bought a property in the forest Leila bought, which we called S&L Haven, our love nest or secret haven until, I don't, we die maybe.

Leila regained her strength in no time and soon after she managed to stand up, walk and run on her own, we bought cattle like sheeps, cows, goats, horses, chickens and ducks, hired some women and men to car for all of them. But Leila and I would sometimes feed, clean, milk and harvest the animals eggs, milk, hair and everything. And it seems to be healing Leila physically and emotionally. She is less agitated and less anxious now. She is happier and laughing most of the time, well, because of my silly and corny jokes I think. But we were able to go through Leila's depression well.
