Alpha Caleb had found me sitting on the edge of the stream, curled up and crying into my knees. His deep voice had been so soothing as he slipped his arm around my shoulders. I’d crawled into his lap and he’d hugged me and rocked me. That was the day he’d told me I’d always be part of his family.
