"Are you ready for us to go to your room then?" After Irvyn had left, Aunt Suzy spoke up. "It is on the second floor as well, right beside to the room of the young master.
"It's not the same room?" Yvette's reaction to the information was one of surprise. They are going to willingly give her a private room?
"You, would you like to stay in the room for the young master? I am always able to bring your belongings back there; however, he stated that..."
"N-No, I am fine with this! It's much better!" Yvette grabbed Suzy by the shoulders at once and held on for her dear life so that she would wait. In her haste, her words certainly came out strange, and Suzy gave her a look of confusion at her. Yvette had the urge to give herself the hardest possible kick, but she knew that wasn't something she could actually do. "I-I guess, it's not a big deal. I'd much rather have it this way."
Suzy took a close look at Yvette, attempting to decipher the expression on her face. The news that Irvyn had suddenly gotten married came as a huge surprise to her yesterday, and it continued to shock her even today. But when he said about how the circumstance was, Suzy was having trouble determining exactly how she ought to feel about the situation. Should she have some compassion for the young lady who got caught up in the situation? Or this man, who was forced to carry out an action that was clearly not a good deed to carry out.
The only thing that she could have done was to communicate with Irvyn in some way. "Irvyn, my son. I really hope this doesn't turn out to be something you come to regret. And put the success of your happiness in jeopardy." While she was explaining it to him, Suzy's eyes welled up with tears. She has more concern for Irvyn than she does for anyone else in the entire world. Even though they are not related by blood, Irvyn thinks of her as the only family she has, and she does the same. This is the reason why, if there's anything in his mind, Irvyn always comes and tells his aunt Suzy about it.
Suzy called out to Yvette, "Come, let me show you your room," as she led the way toward her destination. "And if it's okay with you, allow me to walk you through the whole house first thing tomorrow morning."
Yvette responded with a hushed "Yeah" to the question. She was aware of how loud the voices sounded in this house due to the echoes, which is why she made an effort to deliberately muffle her sound. "Just how big this house is," she kept wondering.
Suzy's voice broke through the intense concentration that Yvette had been maintaining as she surveyed the house, which was only dimly lit by this point. "Here's your room, Ma'am."
"Ah, thank you for your help, uhm…," Yvette didn't quite know how to address this elderly woman or what she should call her, so she was a little uncertain and hesitant about both of those things.
"Don't hesitate to address me as an aunt. Suzy cocked her head to the side and smiled warmly at Yvette as she said, "Irvyn really cares about me and depends on me. And I'd love if you could do the same." Looking at the peaceful vibe she gave off, Yvette felt warm in her heart. It had been such a lengthy period of time since she had even witnessed a smile that contained this much warmth.
"Then please call me Yve. I am a lot younger than you are, and the sound of "ma'am" makes me feel like I have a weight on my head, ugh," Yvette said as she pressed her palm against her forehead and exhaled dramatically as if she was actually experiencing the weight of the title.
"Oh my, haha," Yvette's carefree spirit caused Suzy to burst out laughing. "Sure, as you like it, Yve."
"Yay! "Yes, that's exactly what I love," she chuckled, glowing with contentment. There were only a few people who knew her well enough to give her the nickname "Yve," but those people were her closest friends, after her parents. And there is something about this woman that makes her feel as though she will be dependent on this aunt for a good portion of her life.
"After that, I'll be taking a quick shower, is that okay?"
"That would be very pleasant. If you require it, there is also hot water that is available to you. And once that's done, please join us in the dining hall downstairs for dinner." After Suzy explained a few things to her, including how to use the bathtub, and some little functions the bathroom had, she took her to leave.

"Ah, you are here. Come down and have dinner, Yve," Suzy smiled at Yvette when she saw her coming down from the stairs in small steps. "I didn't have any idea about what your preferences are, so I just made something light. Let me know if you don't like something, so that I can whip up quickly."
Yvette's eyes went towards Irvyn, who was looking at his smartphone while picking up the soup with a spoon in his other hand. Apparently, he didn't look at this way, even aunt Suzy clearly spoke out loud enough to notice anyone.
She hurriedly came near the dining table, and took a seat farthest possible across Irvyn. She gazed at the bowls and plates placed on the table, filled with various foods.
"Oh my goodness, this is way too much, aunt. I possibly can't eat even half of it," Yvette let out a gasp, seeing so many delicious looking items on the table. "And of course, I am totally fine with anything here, you don't need to worry about it. Maybe just a little bit of soup…"
"If you are going to eat this less food and think you can be all fit to go on, better stay hungry," Irvyn roared, startling everyone else in the dining room.
"Young master, what do you mean starving? How can she not eat…"
"Oh? Sure, if that's what you are planning to do, torturing someone you picked up from the streets, right? I'd better oblige then." She slammed her hands on the table, and stomped her way towards her room.
