\You don't need to eat, sleep or even breathe, though that last one is needed for the swordsmanship... have a sword and good luck.\
Well, that's nice... Though the name of this world would be nice but judging from the fact that I know the "Dance Of The Fire God"... Sun breathing was nice too.
So im in Demon Slayer? Well... I guess I gotta kick means ass.
Now time to find out what changed...
I looked at my hands... They weren't my hands... I patted my head... long hair, I usually had short hair.
I was wearing a Haori... weird design reminds me of the water Hashira... but... oh god... Im Giyu Tomiyoka aren't I? But a Water Hashira with flames? Bruh.
"...Okay."
I got over that quickly enough. Even Im surprised and it was me that was okay with it.
Meh, not like I had anything to go back to, there was living and there was being alive. I just had to take things in stride and keep being alive.
With a sigh, I picked up a rather normal looking katana with a red outline on the guard and blue lining along the blade.
Securing it on my waist where there was a holster, I look up to the sky... Well, time to look for the nearest settlement and find out where I am in the canon.
Too bad I don't have a coin to flip... Right, it is.
Turning to my right, I start walking, hoping to get out of the woods.
I walked for twenty minutes according to my internal clock... And I stared... Stared at the clear blue sky. Stared at the clear field that led to a pretty big settlement... And stared at the giant pillar reaching for the skies... at that moment, only one thought crossed my mind...
The fuck?
__
I entered the city without a problem, there were people, but I had a hard time believing these people were civilians.
And the giant weapons they were carrying and the armour they were wearing kinda gave it away.
I walked forward, getting a few weird stares but they shrugged it off, they were weird too, they had no right to judge.
I realised something in the sixteenth minute of my walk... I had no idea where I was going.
Damn.
I sighed again, a bit irritated about my own situation. I have to deal with this somehow.
The place did seem familiar, but he won't place a finger on it.
Snapping back to reality, I breathed in and blurred.
My body twisted, and my legs moved, I stepped aside from the tiny body that was about to run into me.
Looking back, I could see the red-haired... boy? was that a boy? judging from the little bumps on the chest, this creature was a female.
She was wearing a blue chest bind that wasn't connected to the sleeves and showed off her belly, slim waist and shorts that showed off her legs with a blue belt, she was wearing blue high heels and what looked like socks that were coming up to her thighs.
She opened her eyes and I could see the emotions swirling around in them. Curiosity, Intrigue and most of all, Greed.
"Ooh, what do we have here? An interesting specimen indeed, tell me, what's your name?"
Oh yeah, don't introduce yourself, that's cool. Totally normal.
"Giyu Tomioka."
Her eyes narrowed at my answer and my face remained impassive. Since this was a new body, and more importantly, not my own, I won't give out my name either, and besides, I like this guy in the demon slayer.
"Well, nice to meet you Giyu, Im Loki-"
As in god of trickery?
"-Tell me, are you in a Familia? I haven't seen you around here?"
I tilt my head to the side... Familia?
"...hm?"
Indeed.
"...You haven't heard of Familia's? Man, you must be from quite far away, seriously, no one has told you about a familia? Gods?"
...I know about gods...
"No, there was simply no one to tell me."
Her eyes widened while I tilted my head the other way. Though I was still confused about her name, Loki is the name of the god of trickery, why would someone name their child Loki... when the child is a girl?
"Well! Let me inform you!"
___
"So... Your a god-"
Loki nodded.
"-You can give people in your "Familia" a blessing so that they can grow stronger-"
Another nod.
"-And there is a dungeon where the " Adventurers can go to gather "Falna" that can strengthen those who gather it by killing monsters."
She nodded more enthusiastically.
"Okay, now, why would I join your "Familia"."
Leaning back, she took the mug of what I assumed to be beer and started drinking. With a final gulp, she slammed the mug down on the table and looked at me with a grin.
"Well, if you can do that without a blessing, Imagine what you can do with it, and having you will make my Familia stronger, it's a win-win for the both of us."
I get it now... I don't know anything about this world, I only watched one episode and I don't even remember the name.
"...Is there a way I can get into the dungeon without being in a familia?"
She chuckled and leaned over the table.
"No, if you try, you will no doubt be kicked out of the guild. We are one of the strongest familia in Orario, you won't get another chance like this."
Well... If im right, the main character's saviour was from the same familia, the elf lady said so...
Loki was just looking at me with that plastered smile on her face. It was a bit unnerving if I was being honest.
"There you are! Ya know how long I have been looking for you? will you stop disappearing every other minute?"
Looking toward the loud voice I see a white haired man, tall with a lean build, wearing a white jacket, white pants and leg armour... why was he wearing only leg armour, the weirdest thing was the animal ears on his head and a fluffy white tail.
Raising an eyebrow at his appearance I shrugged, this was a different world, and there were some people with pointy ears, it wasn't so far fetched to have animal appendages.
His head snapped towards me and immediately sneered.
"Whos this weakling? Loki, what would you want with him?"
...So, he's an asshole.
"Anyway, I assume the Familia provides a certain level of protection just by joining."
Loki nodded again, ignoring the mutt.
I had nothing to lose and everything to gain...But-
"How does a person level up?"
"Dont Ignore me!-"
We ignored him.
"Oh, that's a simple question Giyu, you just have to impress the gods."
___
After Loki kicked the mutt out, I presented my terms, it wasn't much, just a year of free reign over my dives into the dungeon... I would only bother her to update my status. I knew it was an unusual condition but I needed to get stronger, faster and since I didn't need to eat or sleep, I could spend months in the dungeon and only come out if I got bored.
"I have to say, this is the first time a mortal has made a condition on joining my Familia."
I remained silent, laying on the bed face down as the goddess was on my back performing the ritual.
I felt two small palms touch my back and the weight disappeared. Opening my eyes, I looked to the side only to see Loki looking at a paper with a dumbfounded look on her face.
"Well... you must have one hell of a luck..."
She extended the paper to me with a grin. Taking it, I looked it over.

Hmmm... Nice. A stat sheet.
"So... what does "Elemental Breath" do? Can you breathe out fire?"
I rolled my eyes at that, of course, she would take it literally. Shaking my head, I fold the paper and pocket it.
"Alright, Now-"
"We celebrate!"
"-I'm going to go train."
I walk out of the room. There was a reason I accepted her offer to join her familia.
I was scared.
Gods are not perfect, they can wield an immense amount of power, and their experience dwarfs any mortals.
Im not afraid of them because of their power, Im afraid because they are not perfect. They can destroy a mortal's life on a whim and they won't care, involve them in their plots only for entertainment and make one's life miserable if they go against them.
I might not mind dying, but I want to die quietly, thank you very much.
Moving my hand up and leaning to the side, I caught a pouch that was thrown at me. Looking back, I could see Loki leaning on a door frame with crossed hands over her chest.
"That will get you registered and you will be able to hire an adviser for two months. Remember You have a year of freedom in the dungeon, just dont cause me problems and you'll be fine."
I nodded and looked forward again, hearing the door shut behind me. I walked down the corridor, wanting to head to the dungeon. Looks like my wish would not be granted as I ran into the newly dubbed "Mutt".
"Oh, It's you! What are you doing here? You aren't even good enough to stand before me, let alone the go-"
I walked past him, the small blonde haired boy, two girls that looked like each other, a blonde haired girl that looked like she needed better armour and an elf with a huge staff.
"Don't ignore me, you weakling!"
I turned the corner, I don't have time for the mutt, I needed to register at the guild. And besides, im pretty sure he's a side character.
Another turn and I was heading towards the exit, to think that this is my first day, already got a god interested in me.
It took me fifteen minutes to walk there, fifteen minutes of boredom, dodging the civilians and avoiding some drunk adventurers.
Finally reaching the guild, I took a step inside and looked at the Marble floor, shrugging it off, I took another step and looked at the reception, there were a few people in the line but I didn't mind waiting for a few more minutes.
"Next!"
I walked forward, two people in front of me for now... How to pass time?
I took a breath.
Others looked at me immediately... what the hell? look at someone else, im busy breathing here!
"uh- Next!"
Well... My breathing makes a weird noise, great.
Well, given the advantages, weird noise isn't so bad...
I look up at the ceiling, a clear white...
"Next!"
Snapping back to reality, I step forward again and stared at the brown haired elf with a bob cut... Her green eyes stared into my own as I took out the pouch of coins Loki gave me.
"I would like to register and hire an advisor..."
The receptionist nodded and took out some papers and a pen before looking back up at me.
"Name?"
"Giyu Tomioka."
"Age?"
"...Seventeen."
Probably, I was seventeen before coming here.
"Race?"
...Really?
"Human."
She nodded and wrote it down.
"Your birthplace?"
"I'd rather not say."
The woman nodded in understanding and asked another question... This was going to be a long registration, wasn't it?
Half an hour later, I was still at the receptionist's desk.
"Alright, please follow me to the private room and I shall explain how the dungeon works and the quest system."
I sigh and followed her... this was tedious...
A few turns later and we came to a wooden door which she opened to reveal two chairs a desk with... oh god, that's one big ass book...
"Let's discuss the first fifteen floors, you, as a rookie adventurer won't be going oast the second floor but knowing what's ahead of you is useful."
...Can I use sun breathing to burn that thing? Does my sword even emit flames when I use it?
"On the first floor, you will meet Kobolds, they are dog headed monsters th-"
Yup, Im going to be here for a while...
