"It's been a while since we were on the same level, Salas." Liam smirked confidently.
"Not quite, little bro." Salas smiled.
"How about we put that to the test?" Liam scoffed as he released all 10 of his Worlds, the pressure causing the formation of multiple black holes. "Actions speak louder than words!"
"Well said!!" Salas rushed his brother as he streaked across the Void. All matter in his way shattered. Every star, planet and black hole got scattered into the Void.
Both brothers unsheathed their weapons. Salas wielded a dark red saber with multiple spikes on the upper edge of the weapon. Liam, on the other hand, wielded a snow-white spear with a multitude of runes on it.
BOOOOM!!!
The two weapons clashed, shaking a few Worlds within the Void. Battles between Eternal Existences could easily destroy multiple World, some even destroying Tier-7 Worlds. Even a simple spar could shake a portion of the Void, along with the Worlds within it.
BOOM!!
BOOM!!
BAM!!
The two weapons' speeds were unbelievable. Even Tier-9 World Holders would shake in horror before such speed.
Swish!
Swish!
Both returned and backed up as they smiled at the other, taking deep breathes.
"Not bad, Liam!" Salas smiled. "You've improved."
"'Not bad', indeed." a sinister voice appeared next Liam's ear.
He immediately backed off and rushed to Salas's side. He saw a blonde, long haired, woman wearing a plain black shirt and black pants looked at Liam.
"What do you want, Suni?!?" Salas exploded with fury. There was no Eternal Existence that did not hate this woman. She wasn't only the 4th ranked on the Eternal List of All, but she was also an Eternal Existence that had offended every Eternal Existence outside the top 10 at least once.
"Calm down, Ender." Suni smiled. "I'm actually here with good news for once."
"W-What?" Salas was taken aback. Suni was known for being petty and disruptive, but she was also very honest.
"Sin's child, Hestris, is going to come here to ask for your daughter's hand in marriage." Suni smirked. "Of course, that is if you don't reject them."
"Tell them no. We can't have an engagement without Seraphina present." Salas said after some thought.
Suni was immediately flabbergasted. Even she wouldn't dare be this blunt when rejecting Sin!
"V-Very well then. I will relay your message to him." Suni proceeded to teleport away from the brothers.
"Salas, are you sure?" Liam asked with a hint of fear in his voice. "Shouldn't you have rejected them right away? Why would you prolong the time you have to interact with a monster like Death God Sin?"
"They'll ask questions." Salas said, worry was within his eyes.
"So what if they know she's a Lawsborne?" Liam protested. "They'd be more scared of her due to her connections with Law."
"They can't risk a Lawsborne becoming an Eternal Existence, Liam. They might not be able to kill her in the Void Realms, but they can send a ton of soldiers into any World she enters, decreasing her chances of claiming ten Worlds." Salas sighed. He was in quite the predicament.
Lawsborne were creatures born within the Law of the Void. They had a natural affinity to all Laws of every nature, but they could never marry or feel love towards anyone. Familial love was something they knew of and rarely experienced, but romantic love was something they would never experience.
-Back in the Kinus Clinic, during nighttime-
"It sort of just...happened." Phina said to Jack. "I just hold it in my left hand and boom. Super high reaction speeds and unbelievable instincts."
"That's very hard to believe, Phina." Jack muttered as he inspected Phina's dagger. It was the same one he used before he gave it to her. Nothing had changed about it. "It's best if you don't use the...Ender State more than you should."
"There must be some kind of negative effect we're not seeing here." Jack sighed as he gave up.
"Hello? It's making me lose control of my emotions!" Phina said as she sat up on the couch.
"Listen. I'm seen worse consequences for a small fraction of your ability, and these abilities are considered High-Class abilities." Jack laid back on the other couch. "There must be something worse."
"Whatever, sure, I won't use it more than I have to." Phina rolled her eyes as she laid back as well. "So, you're gonna take me tomorrow?"
"Are you actually still on about that?" Jack raised an eyebrow. "Why do you want to thank him so much? With diner? Just admit you have a crush on him."
"N-No I don't!!" Phina said as her face flushed a deep red. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't interested in the idea of a boyfriend, but she didn't know William good enough. "What if I said I had a crush on you?!"
"I'd say you're lying." Jack smirked.
"And you'd be right." Phina smiled mischievously.
"Damn it, I fell right into that one." Jack cursed. Jack then looked to the ceiling, wondering. "What's your dream man like Phina?"
"Why do you ask?" Phina asked him as she stared with him.
"Kara and Fardo are on a small picnic where they first met. They're having the picnic at night since it's their anniversary and the time they met was night time." Jack fantasized the idea of having a loving wife. He might've hated Kara, but he envied his brother for having her. His brother was so in love, he started letting go of his time with his brother to spend time with his wife. How great would it be to have someone so fun for you to be around while that person also keeps you grounded?
"I guess handsome? Maybe tall. I don't know, honestly. I never thought about it." Phina said. "But I want him to be righteous man. I also want him to be strong, so that he can stop me if I go too far. But not too strong so I can keep him in check as well. I guess I also want him to be gentle so that our children can enjoy their life with a loving father and a doting mother."
"I guess only time will tell." Jack sighed as he smiled. He was truly excited for the future.
