Chapter 12: Ma'am Argata remembrance

"What took you so long, John?" 

"Popman, I'm sorry I---was--"

"Enough John! Just stop it, please!! I warn you to never step foot in that company again, but you never listen to me! Why?" 

"Maybe it's because I don't understand you, Popman! I am your son, yet you don't treat me like one! That company is mine! Because it belongs to my Popman!! The reason you asked me to never step foot there is what I don't understand! Or possibly, you're not my real father!" John was furious with his father.

And his father slapped him so hard for saving, perhaps not his son. John looked straight into his father's eyes and told him that it would be better if he got ready because many vampires would be wiped out by him, since that was the only thing he saw himself doing right! John walked out of his father's sight after saying this.

"John! John!" His father called his name, but John refused to answer.

Jethro went and saw John's father. He greeted him.

"He Mr. Delacruz" 

"Where did you and John go today?" Mr. Delacruz frowns his face.

"We just chill out, that's all," Jethro feels scared.

"You can talk to me, Jethro, and you know how much I hate lies! So tell me the truth, did you kill any vampires today?" 

"Huh? Vampire? No! We didn't. The boss was happy today, so we didn't kill any vampires." 

"You better tell me the truth because if I find out that you're lying, Jethro…" 

"Trust me, sir, we didn't kill anything." 

"Good!" Mr. Delacruz went into his room, while Jethro went into John's room.

Jethro was scared of seeing John turn into a werewolf. He shouted aaah boss! John turned back into a human and asked John what he was doing inside his room because he hated it when seeing him in werewolf form.

"Boss, are you fighting with your Popman again? I'm sure he has his reason for stopping you from going to the company." 

"Just shut your mouth, Jethro, and leave, I want to rest." John picks up a white towel and uses it to wrap his waist.

"Ooh, boss, you mean I can go out and have fun?" Jethro asks with excitement.

"Yes! But make sure nobody knows your identity, or else I will kill you!"

"Sure boss, I will be careful!" 

Jethro sped off like a wind out of the house. He was happy, while John smiled, seeing how happy Jethro was.

Immediately Jethro left the building, the man tailing John and always giving information about him to someone, called his boss.

[Phone clicks] "Sir, there is new information" 

"What is it?" 

"Mr. Delacruz is furious with John for visiting his company, I think there's more to it." The caller said.

"Then find out what it's, and don't forget, keep looking for Alarick!" 

"Yes, boss! John servant just wants out now, I will follow him." 

He dropped the call and traced Jethro by using his inner power to scan the places Jethro passed.

*Vampires Club, eleventh floor.*

All the vampires in that club were dancing and sipping human blood in their glass cups. Immediately, Jethro enters the club. Two ladies wearing black bras and pants approach him to sniff his body to find out maybe his vampire or werewolf.

Jethro was happy and enjoying the way those ladies were rocking him from head to toe. And immediately, those ladies discover Jethro is a vampire. They stayed away from him, which changed Jethro's expression, and he went to sit in a corner.

The bar attendant approached Jethro and asked him, perhaps he cares for pure wine? Jethro said yes, and the person went to get it for him. Three guys came and sat beside Jethro to make sure he was in their midst.

Jethro was scared because of their appearance, then he decided to stand and look for another seat, but one of those guys forced him to sit back.

"Hey! What did you guys want from me?!" 

"Where is your boss?" One of them asked.

"Why should I tell you? And besides, you don't look like someone my boss can know, so please get out of my way!" Jethro said and intended to stand up again. Those guys forced him to sit back.

"Hey! Don't test my patience!" Jethro said with anger.

Then one of those guys stood up and faced Jethro and asked him what he would do if they tested his patience? Is he going to kill them, just the way that his boss did to one of them? 

"I don't know what you're talking about! So let me go now!" 

"Why should we? Don't worry, Jethro, we won't kill you! But we will make sure that you experience pain! That you'll tell your boss to back off and if he doesn't, I won't spare you when we come next!" 

The three of them bring out a small device known as an electric shock. Jethro was petrified because those guys were about to use it on him.

"Let him go!" A voice from behind them.

Those guys looked behind them, and they saw a werewolf stranger. His eyes had already turned into gold.

The three of them laughed and asked the person what made him think they were going to listen to him? And the stranger werewolf guy said strange because he owns this club.

He brings out his identity card and shows them.

"You might own the club but, we vampires rock it! So if you know what is best for you, leave us alone, or do you want us to ruin this club for you?" One of those vampires said confidently.

[Phone clicks] "Hello, please send in some guards right now!" The werewolf guy makes a call and the guards arrive immediately.

He asked them to send those three guys out and banned them from coming to this club without anybody knowing. The vampire guys were taken out without any interruption with the party going.

Jethro was happy and he thanked the werewolf guy. The person sat beside Jethro and introduced himself as Tristan.

"Ooh Tristan, thanks for saving me, I should get going." Jethro sounded like someone rushing.

"Come on, sit awhile with me, because those guys are gone. You don't even tell me what your name is," 

"Ooh I'm sorry, my bad, my name is Jethro, I mean almighty Jethro, Mr. handsome," Jethro said jokingly.

"What did those guys want from you?" Tristan asked gently.

"It's nothing, I guess I want to be on my way." Jethro stood up.

"Jethro, I just helped you, is this how you will repay me? Common man! I banned those guys from this club, and you know how much loss it can cause my club if other vampires find out! So don't make it hard for me." 

Jethro looked back and asked Tristan what he wanted from him? Tristan asked Jethro to sit down and he did.

"Your boss, John, why did his father forbid him from going to the company?" Tristan looked straight into Jethro's eyes.

"What? Why did you want to know? And how did you even know my boss? Ooh, I get it, my boss is famous when it comes to handsome guys, but wait, how did you know his father forbade him from going to the company? Are you stocking us?" Jethro felt shocked because he wasn't expecting the question. 

"Just answer me and remember that you can't lie to a werewolf because I will know whether you're telling the truth or not!" 

[Exhale sharply] "Okay, fine! I will tell you, but my boss must not find out because he doesn't know the reason, Mr. Delacruz asked him to stop visiting also." 

"What. He doesn't know? How come you know?" Tristan was surprised.

"Mr. Delacruz confided in me because of John's safety," 

"John Safety? He's a werewolf, and I'm sure he must be stronger than you."

"Not just a werewolf, Tristan," Jethro said slowly.

"What did you mean?" 

"John is a hybrid, he has the blood of a werewolf and a vampire. Mr. Delacruz is keeping him safe so that those working at the DELAROSE COMPANY won't find out who he is. A throne was made for him to sit on, and vampires must not find out about this until John fully recovered his power." 

"Power? Which power?" Tristan looked confused.

"John can only turn into a werewolf, but not as strong as werewolves. His weak Mr. Delacruz believed that maybe when he sits on the throne he might become stronger." 

"So where is the Throne?" 

"We don't know, still searching for it. And as a werewolf would advise you not to get close to DELAROSE COMPANY. Take that as advice, " Jethro said, and left the club speedily.

Tristan wonders what might go on in that company that will make Jethro tell him not to get close to that company like a werewolf. Tristan fled the club as well and went out to where his car was parked.

He got in and saw the three vampires sitting behind his car, Tristan looked at them in the front of his car mirror and smiled. He pulls out a saver, brings out an envelope filled with money, then hands it over to them.

"Make sure you always monitor him," Tristan replied.

"Yes, boss." They'll reply.

Then Tristan ordered them to get out of his car as he drove off straight to DELAROSE COMPANY. He parked in front of that company but far distantly from the entrance, and repeated in his mind that, what could go on in his place that Jethro ordered me to stay off from? 

While having this thought, a white truck arrived at the company and some cartons well packaged were brought out of the truck and picked up inside the company carefully. 

Tristan was looking and there was nothing written on those cartons, one of them fell off from one of those. One of the stockings. The person was slapped by the supervisor and taken inside roughly.

Tristan was shocked and asked himself what could be inside those boxes? He picked up his phone and made a phone call.

"Hello, I want you to investigate something for me within two days. DELAROSE COMPANY, find out what they're dealing with." 

"But DELAROSE COMPANY produces electronics." 

"Electronics?" 

"Yes, even soon, they will launch cell phones that don't use a sim card and people are excited about the new phone, they can wait for the phone to be in the market." 

"Cell phone? Not sure if it's an ordinary cell phone, I think there's more to that. Just find out what it is and lets me know." 

Tristan hung up the call and said to himself that something fishy was about to happen, and he drove out of that area.

*Oceanside* 

[Knock on the door. ] 

"Hold on, I'm coming," [exit opens and closes] "Hey Ligaya, how are you doing?" 

Luningning responded with a smiling face, but Ligaya frowned at her face and she stretched the flowers she was holding towards him. Lunning collecting it, Ligaya turned back and wanted to leave.

"Hey Ligaya! What happened? You don't look happy." 

Ligaya turned back and asked Luningning that? I don't look happy? I thought you loved me! You make a fool out of me thinking you confess your love to me.

"Goodness! Ligaya, you know we are like family and that will never change." 

"Then why did you call me beautiful yesterday? I hate you Luningning!" Ligaya started crying.

"I just wish to make you cheerful. Okay, I'm sorry Ligaya please." Luningning apologizes.

"Okay! But after Ma'am Argata remembers tomorrow, I don't want to ever see your face again." Ligaya said and left.

While Luningning was bothered, he called Ligaya's name, but she wouldn't answer him. Alarick came out and held Luningning on his shoulder.

He tells Luningning to try to understand Ligaya because she is like that all for love.

"But father, I did nothing wrong to her. I didn't ask her out." Luningning sounds pitiful.

"I know Luningning, don't worry, she will forgive you. Ligaya doesn't look like a lady that will hold grudges for long. But tell me, don't you like her at all?" 

"Huh? Stop it, father, why will you even ask."? Luningning left his father outside and went inside while his father smiled.

Alarick followed Luningning inside. He asked Luningning about those flowers Ligaya brought and Luningning handed it over to him.

"But father, who is this Ma'am Argata? You never mention anything to me about her. All you tell me is to consistently have it in mind that someone named Ma'am Argata is my second mom and I should constantly remember her and how much she loves me. But we never remember my mother. What's happening father? I'm no longer a kid."
