"Iron Man. That's quite catchy. It has a pleasant ring to it. I mean, it's not exactly accurate. The suit is made of a gold titanium alloy, but it does have a provocative quality, at least in terms of imagery." – Tony Stark

**

(Note: Tony's POV and Third Person from the Author)

"I can see it in your eyes, Tony. You don't believe, you may know it's possible, but you don't believe. All you have to do now is open your eyes!" He moved swiftly and placed his hand on Tony's forehead.

**

The Ancient One, an enigmatic figure in flowing green and gold robes, stood before Tony Stark in a chamber illuminated by a soft ethereal glow. His gaze, deep and wise, was fixed upon the disciple before him. Silence hung in the air, charged with electric anticipation.

"Open your eyes, Tony," the voice of the Ancient One resonated like a hypnotic whisper, penetrating Stark's mind and echoing in his core. A touch of command and a promise of transcendent revelations.

Iron Man closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. He felt the Ancient One's words reverberate within him, propelling him to seek something beyond what his conventional senses allowed him to perceive. His body relaxed, and he allowed his mind to become a receptacle for the ancient wisdom the Ancient One was about to share.

Then, with imposing delicacy, the Ancient One raised his hands, fingers extended like rays of light converging at an invisible focal point before Tony. With a gesture that seemed to transcend the laws of physics, he pushed his own astral form out of his physical body, a process that unfolded with ethereal and almost celestial grace.

A myriad of colors and shapes danced in the air around the Ancient One as his astral form slowly distanced itself from his physical being. The very space seemed to warp around him, creating an iridescent portal stretching into infinity. The Ancient One, now an entity of light and shadows, began his journey through the multiverse.

And Tony Stark watched, awestruck and astounded, at the scene unfolding before his inner eyes. The shimmering portal enveloped him, drawing him into a spiral of indescribable colors and sensations. He floated in cosmic emptiness, witnessing stars being born and dying, galaxies dancing in harmony, and dimensions interweaving.

It was a sight that defied the boundaries of human understanding. Stark felt an overwhelming humility in the face of the vastness of the multiverse and his own insignificance in the presence of such grandeur. He experienced the interconnection of all things, the web of reality that stretched beyond the confines of time and space.

As the Ancient One and Stark journeyed through the multiverse, a deep and timeless understanding was transmitted to the disciple. He began to realize that his role as Iron Man was intricately linked to cosmic balance, that his actions reverberated through ages and realities. A heightened sense of responsibility overcame him, guided by the wisdom being shared in this transcendent journey.

Finally, the Ancient One and Stark returned to the sanctuary, their astral forms reintegrating with their physical bodies. The Ancient One opened his eyes, revealing a profound and serene glow, while Stark stared into the infinite with a mixture of reverence and newfound understanding.

"You have glimpsed the truth, Tony," said the Ancient One, his voice carrying centuries of knowledge. "Now you comprehend the interconnection of all things and the importance of your role as a guardian of balance. Use this insight with wisdom and humility."

Tony Stark nodded, a newfound determination burning in his eyes. He knew that this experience had forever transformed his journey as Iron Man, preparing him to face challenges that extended beyond the boundaries of his known reality.

And so, in that moment of profound understanding, Iron Man was ready to embrace his cosmic destiny, aware of the weight of his choices and the responsibility he carried across the multiverse.

After the Ancient One sent Stark and Peggy traveling through the multiverse, opening their third eye to access exotic energies, he left behind books like "How to Teach Magic to Novices, Vol. 1." and then departed until his next visit.

"Well, it looks like he's gone!" Tony exclaimed, mentally exhausted from all the information he had received.

"That was quite impressive. I never expected all of this," Peggy spoke, trying to process it all. After all, she was the president of Shield (A/N: not yet the abbreviated name...) and she was unaware of the magical world. Of course, she was aware of aliens, but this was something entirely new. (A/N: Captain Marvel hasn't appeared yet in this timeline.)

"Yes, you're right. Even though I knew about all this, I'm surprised that what I knew was just the tip of the iceberg," Tony said with a tired look.

Checking the time, Tony realized it was time to pick up Pepper. Turning to Peggy, he remembered that he had obtained his driver's license. After all, his parents had left this world on December 12, 1985, but now months had passed, and he was 16 years old. (A/N: the age at which you can get a driver's license.)

"I'll go pick up Pepper from the university. And I'll fill her in on things," Tony said, a sense of happiness returning to his spirit.

"You just want to show off your new car, don't you?" Peggy teased, knowing that he wanted to impress others.

"Well, I won't deny that there's some truth to that. But what I really want is to take a ride in the car," Tony affirmed.

"Boss, I've located a woman of interest along with a child. A woman named Meredith Quill has just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. She has only one year to live. The person of interest is a child. Peter Quill, her son, who is devastated by the discovery at the moment," Friday reported.

Just as Tony was about to head out, he remembered that he had asked for some information. (A/N: In our world, the internet was initially used for academic purposes. Arpanet, but in the Marvel universe, technology progressed faster. Let's say that for some reason, Howard Stark was involved in the creation of the "modern" internet in the Marvel world. So, they have servers, websites, and data storage systems like servers for hospitals in the USA.)

"Thanks a lot, Friday. I'll deal with that after picking up Pepper. Just one more question. Was she hospitalized?" Tony asked, as he needed to help the dying woman and obtain genetic material from her and Peter Quill. This way, he could differentiate between celestial genetic material and non-celestial material.

"Well, I'm off," Tony said, giving Peggy a kiss before heading to the garage.

The first lineup of cars included a Muscle Car (Peggy's car), a Rolls Royce (1925), a Shelby Cobra (1967), a Saleen S7 (1967), a 1932 Ford Flathead Roadster, and a Ghia Cadillac (1953). Tony paused and thought for a moment. He decided to go with the classic Saleen S7.

Tony got into his eye-catching orange Saleen S7. Well, it matched Tony's style. He drove to the exit of Pepper's university, waiting for her where Peggy would usually pick her up. Wearing sunglasses to conceal his identity – after all, being the infamous son of Howard Stark, everyone was ready to take more photos of him (A/N: They had taken photos of him drunk after his parents' deaths, which had caused him problems).

Pepper walked out of the university with a smile on her face, oblivious to the presence of the eye-catching orange Saleen S7 waiting for her. She opened the car door and blinked in surprise at the sight of Tony behind the wheel.

"Tony? What are you doing here? And with this amazing car?" she asked, clearly impressed.

"Surprise, Pepper! I thought I'd pick you up in a different way today," Tony replied with a mischievous smile.

They drove away from the university, and Tony skillfully navigated the streets, showcasing the capabilities of the sports car. Pepper couldn't help but enjoy herself, getting excited about the speed and power of the vehicle.

As they drove, Tony shared his experiences with Pepper – his encounter with the Ancient One and their journey through the multiverse.

"Tomorrow, the Ancient One will return so that I can learn more. Okay. After that, I'm going to help some people," Tony said, his thoughts on the Quill family.

Upon returning, Tony noticed that several packages had arrived for a project.

"Your package has arrived, Tony. How are you, Pepper?" Peggy asked, waiting for Tony and Pepper to arrive. They were there, but for some reason, they had many marks and hickeys. Peggy knew well what had happened, but she couldn't help but ask if they had gone all the way in the car.

"Yes, that's right. I was going to make a miniaturized Arc Reactor," Tony said, rushing to the basement where his equipment was located.

"I'm fine," Pepper mumbled, her face reddening in front of Peggy. For some reason, she still felt embarrassed, even though she had already shared a bed with Tony.
