The heartbroken Vedh

Vedh's father predicted that May would become Lee's daughter-in-law as Jack or Vedh whoever married, it didn't matter to him. It simply meant Jack can marry May.

The only opinion of Vedh's mother remained...

Vedh turned to face his mother, who had a sorry expression on her face.

He understood that if he persisted in getting married, everyone would be against him.

Then, before anybody could respond, Vedh approached May, smiled, and said, "May, you ought to have said it earlier. I do honor your choice. How will I want you to feel sad as your close friend?

And Jack, why did you remain mute during this time? Okay, forget what occurred; I won't stand in the way of my brother's love. Otherwise, I'll be viewed as a real villain by the public."

That was the longest line he had ever spoken.

Everyone exhaled a sigh of relief as he made the situation more pleasurable. He exited the wedding hall as May and Jack were getting ready to get married.
