The Golden Turtle

"Shadow let's go, I think we would just have to ask for directions from other passerby" Derrick told Shadow before closing the carriage window again.

"Alright young master" Shadow said looking at telling the coachman to move forward.

"The beauty of Vall, my interest has been picked" Zazel said in Derrick's head, making Derrick sigh, Zazel has been quiet alot ever since they left the Dark's territory, he only mentioned about the bounty and became quiet again, he seemed to be bored lately and something has picked his interest.

"We would check it out later Zazel, I don't think the beauty of Vall would be that beautiful, it might be only a title" Derrick answered Zazel, he would have rejected it, but seeing that Zazel was willing to say something after all this time, he decided to give in.

Shadow had asked several people about the golden turtle and have gotten to know it's location, most of the passerby remaining were women who were in a bad mood, it seems their husbands or lovers had gone to see the beauty of Vall but that wasn't any of Shadow's concern.

After getting to the golden turtle, it was a really nice inn, it was huge, painted in white, with signboard of a turtle in golden colours.

This was the golden turtle, getting in, the inn was about average thou but it was the best inn here, the workers were well dressed but the atmosphere looked a little weird.

"What do you mean by you don't allow pets in here, this is my spiritual beast, that is worth 150 gold coins, I should leave it to you to put it together with those filthy animals you have in the barn" a lady shrilled voice echoed in the inn, the lady seems to be of a high status so the workers don't want to offend the said lady, she was wearing a big fur, with her long pink dress, her blonde hair was laced with jewelries, she held a beast that looked like a rabbit with an horn, but the rabbit had silver fur, it seems that it is the spiritual beast she was screaming about.

Derrick looked at the scene, there was only one thought in his mind 'this has got nothing to do with me' he followed behind Shadow who got the memo to ignore the crazy lady.

"I want a room" Shadow said towards a worker there who nodded that there were only three room available.

"Okay I will like to have two rooms that are close together" Shadow said wanting a room close to Derrick to intervene if there was anything the matter.

Hearing this the crazy lady who has been screaming since towards the workers turned to face Shadow "I already asked for two rooms leaving only one, one for my spiritual beast and the other for me, you can scram to find other inns, or you can make due with the last room" she said staring daggers at Shadow.

Shadow tactically ignored her, before asking the workers "Are there three rooms available or one?" hearing the words of Shadow the workers were sweating buckets, they couldn't say three nor could they say one, this was a problem.

"There are three rooms available, young man" a voice was heard coming from upstairs, when the workers saw who it was, they heaved a sigh of relief, it was their madam.

"Sir there are three rooms available and 1 gold coin per night" the worker said to Shadow after getting the go ahead from their madam.

"What do you mean madame Turtle?" the lady on fur said towards the madam of the golden turtle.

"I meant what I said, you know the rules no animals allowed in the golden turtle even if they are spiritual beast" the madam replied her without even a fluctuation from her voice.

"Do you want to offend my father?" the lady on fur said with narrowed eyes towards the madam.

"Hahaha tell your father I sent my greetings lady Ivy" the madam said laughing.

The young lady who is called Ivy turned to glared towards Shadow, then her eyes fell towards Derrick, her face puffed she looked a little dazzled before apparently walking out of the golden turtle with a hmph.

The madame walked down the stairs her red dress swayed with her, her curves moving along side her, she walked towards Shadow and Derrick.

"Sorry about that, she is the niece of Baron Valluck, and her father is the right hand man of Baron Valluck, general Valdmir also Baron Valluck brother, sorry for the disturbance she has caused" the madam said towards Shadow and Derrick.

"Is no problem madame" Shadow replied the madam but he didn't say more, Derrick looked at the madam who smiled at him, Derrick only nodded, he didn't understand why she was called Madame, she should be in her early twenties, she had nice blonde hair darker than the young lady who left, her red dress fits her body well and her beautiful brown eyes fluttered when she blinks.

Derrick just wanted to leave Zazel was already talking bullshit about the beauty of Vall that he should go and see, he didn't want another trouble from him, this wasn't his territory.

They paid the fee and went to their respective rooms, meanwhile back at the counter "Keep your eyes on those two, they seemed to be nobles and don't offend them" madame said towards her workers.
