"Derrick how is my character rotten ehh?" Ella lost it and stood in front of Derrick demanding an answer.

"This is not the place nor the time to discuss this kind of issue, sorry for angering you" Derrick immediately said, he wasn't ready for Ella's madness in public.

Ella realized that it was not ideal to really have an argument out in the open, so she quickly behaved herself and went back to walking side by side with Derrick.

"Some young ladies are just shameless, latching on rich men without having anything to offer, I have seen most of them during my work here young master, you have to be careful" the sales attendant said as if she was giving an advice to a bossom friend.

Ella eyed the sales attendant, but kept mute waiting for Derrick's answer, although she also believes she has become a leech, it wasn't her intention.

"I will keep that in mind, aren't we there yet we have been walking for some minutes now" Derrick said trying to quickly change the topic, the store was large, but due to their conversation the time taken to reach there got longer.

"Sorry young master we are here" the sales attendant said, the space for women clothings was large and there were a few women already looking around.

"Ella go pick some clothes you like, be fast though, Shadow might already be back in the inn" Derrick quickly said to Ella, who nodded and walked off, the clothes she had on were too baggy, due to Shadow's selection, Ella quickly looked around, and the prices of this clothes were in gold coins, which made her eyes bulge, the ladies who were there looked at her like they were looking at a clown.

"It seems this is her first time here"

"She seemed to be a pauper"

"What are the attendants doing letting someone like that in"

There was loud whispers all around, making Ella to lose her confidence, back in her home she didn't need to buy clothes herself and the concept of money was dull in the elven kingdom, it was during her stay in the human kingdom for some days made her realize gold was a very high currency and not anyone could have it, everything was provided for her back home, she remembered the words of the sales attendant, she felt like she was really a leech, her confidence was plummeting.

When she wanted to turn back a soft embrace held her from the back, and an head pat from behind brought her back, she turned to look at the boy with red hair that seems like flames in his head, he was thankful to him, but also scared at thesame time.

"She is with me, who has a problem with that should come and find me" Derrick said with eyes as shard and as bright as the night stars.

The eyes of most of the ladies who saw him turned into hearts, it was full of ladies and some tried approaching him, but Derrick was some one who dislikes attention after saying that, he left Ella and went to the waiting room.

Ella saw this and smiled sweetly, she knew he did that to protect her, although she doesn't fully understand the human world nor did she trust any of the humans, she was happy that she met Derrick.

"Hahaha boy you now know how to melt a ladies heart, my training was not a waste" Zazel said as Derrick left for the waiting room.

"I only did what I thought was right, I was only confident enough to do that because I believed there wouldn't be a noble higher than me, it would be an issue if there were nobles with higher authority" Derrick replied with a sigh, he hasn't forgotten that this world is ruled by heirarchy and power, he wasn't strong enough to be given special treatment.

"What are you scared of, you would always have me as your last resort" Zazel said with a hearty laughter.

"That might be true but if they were occasions you couldn't come out, or the span of time for you to come out has ended, I would be on my own" Derrick replied Zazel's words with that, leaving both of them in a deathly silence.
