Worries

After the light introduction with the Butler, Derrick left for his room, leaving Shadow and Ella to their own devices, he was mentally drained from the journey they had coming to the capital, the questions Ella kept asking left him strained and tired, he could only think of resting and away from people.

Due to Derrick rushing with a maid in tow to show him his room, the duo was left with the Butler Wade, whom made a light chuckle before casually saying.

"Mr Shadow, I was informed you were coming alone with the young master, so whom might this young lass be?" Butler Wade casually asked, observing Ella from head to toe.

It seems Shadow and the Butler were already acquaintances and there was no need for further introduction between them, and as such Shadow wanted to answer the question.

Ella seeing this, quickly made a light bow to butler Wade before answering the question directed to Shadow.

"My name is Trellesadranella Driesseline Fadrolopane, am an acquaintance of young master Derrick, he saved my life and he has given his word to take care of me until I get home" Ella said as politely as she could, she knew she had entered the deep territory of humans and she has to coordinate herself as much as possible.

"Oh young lass welcome to the Dark mansion, am afraid this old brain can't remember such a long name, is there a shorter form of it?" Butler Wade asked with a chuckle, the long name confused him, only nobles bears such a long name, but he hasn't heard of any noble with the Fadrolopane name.

"Oh sorry about that you can just call me Ella" Ella quickly said which was followed with a short laughter.

"Anyways get some rest Miss Ella, dinner would be prepared a little later" Butler Wade said before ushering to one of the maids to show Ella to her room.

After Ella has gone Butler Wade atmosphere changed before motioning to Shadow "Who is she?".

"As she said a lost girl" Shadow narrated the story to Wade as best as he could.

"I see" Butler Wade said so before leaving Shadow for his duties, leaving Shadow to his own devices.

"Young miss, a letter from the Dark's family, it seems the young master of the Dark family has gotten to the capital" a maid woke the sleeping beauty up from her slumber.

"Oh he has gotten here, it would be rude of me not to go see him" Rosetta said yawning, but there was a glimmer in her eyes, which her personal maid wouldn't miss, a knowing smile formed on the maid's face, which she only nodded at.

Although due to their status, it was only right that Derrick the son of a Baron should go and see her, but due to their personalities and because of their engagement, that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

Derrick laid on the soft bed, looking at the glowing magic bulb in the sky, he then sighed, he had a premonition that the days ahead were not going to be pleasant.

"I should try my best to stay out of trouble, avoid women as much as possible and finish this academy without any hassle" Derrick muttered to himself, he has been sighing to himself since he got to the capital and was physically and mentally exhausted.

"What do you mean by staying out of trouble and avoiding women, don't you know academies are the places of romance, and forget about avoiding trouble, you are walking time bomb, if you could avoid trouble for a week, it's a cause for celebration" Zazel couldn't help but dampen Derrick's mood, and spoil his day dreaming.

"Ah, please would you give me a break, after meeting you, my life has been a roller coaster, please can I have my peaceful and easy life back" Derrick could only voice out his dissatisfaction towards Zazel in such a manner.

"Your life has already been a roller coaster before you knew of my existence, and without me you would have been long dead, am just advising you better have a plan of action before it's too late, you are no longer in your territory" Zazel finally said before quieting down, he felt the lack of motivation of Derrick was quite disappointing.

Before a knock apparently came from the door, after Derrick granted permission a maid walked in before apparently saying "Young master, the young miss your fiancee is here".
