Arriving At The Capital

After being on the road for almost a month, the Dark's got to the center of Falzia, the capital of the kingdom and where Saint Falzia Academy was located.

'The past journey has been torture for me, I was bombarded by all type of questions by Ella and I could hit my chest and say that all the reasons for my troubles during this journey was thanks to her, it was a boring journey until we met in that stupid kingdom, after saving her, that's when everything changed and she is still being too clingy, this is annoying'

Derrick sighed after the epistle that was going on in his head, he was more than happy than to have gotten to the center of Falzia, he would have his peace coming back to him soon.

"Wow is this the center of Falzia is so big, it looks really clean and beautiful" Ella said looking around and seeing the crowd of people, the city was cleaner than most kingdoms they had passed and looked more coordinated than the kingdoms they have been, it was the core of Falzia, so it couldn't be looked down upon.

Derrick just glanced at the city before losing interest, he was a modern person in the past, who had been to different countries, so he wasn't even interested in 'beauty' of the city that Ella said.

"Derrick why are you looking moody again, you have been acting like I am a nuisance to you" Ella who saw the disinterested face of Derrick got angry and questioned him.

'What's wrong with this girl, ahh are all women like this?' Derrick didn't even know what to say, he started glaring at Ella and completely ignored her, this infuriated Ella the more, she began shaking Derrick in the carriage asking what's wrong.

"Please would you leave me alone, play with your wind element, you are already a level 4 mage, your talent is already extremely high, after proper training" Derrick said without even looking at her.

"Are you trying to change the topic? I didn't ask you about my talent I was aski...." As she wanted to keep arguing, the carriage stopped and Shadow opened the door.

"Young master, let's rest in the Dark's little mansion in the capital for now, it seems we were early, the entrance ceremony of the academy would only take place in three days time" Shadow said, before leading Derrick and Ella out of the carriage.

"Young master, young miss, we should be careful most of the people here are of noble birth and royal birth, they are of higher status than us" Shadow whispered to Derrick and Ella, for them to be careful with the people here, they both nodded.

"And young master, we have a letter from your fiancee, she has been in the capital for two days now and I replied her that we have just got to the capital too" Shadow said and Derrick only nodded, there is no way he could stop Rosetta from coming.

When they opened the gate to the Dark's mansion it was beautiful, with flowers making a path through to the front door and a fountain in the middle, Ella eyes twinkled after seeing the beauty of the mansion, she was moody when she heard about Derrick's fiancee but put it in the back of her mind when she saw the mansion, although she herself have been used to seeing mansion but it was all greeny.

Even Derrick still marvelled at the design, the fountain made of fishes spouting water, and the giant statue with a sword in hand.

"Hmm it seems this building has been here for a long time but has still been maintained, the Dark's has secrets, I believe father wouldn't have even told me about our ancestors if not for Zazel" Derrick muttered to himself when he walked in to the mansion step by step, the door was flung open by a man that looks like he was in his mids 50s, dressed like a butler, he made light bow.

After such there was a row of maids from the left to the right, they made a bow, saying in unison ""Welcome young master"".

The steps were covered with a red carpet and the chandelier upward shined brightly, it looked like it was done with magic, 'what a grand welcome' Derrick thought to himself.

Derrick could only nod at them, the maids were all trying to take a glance at Derrick, the young master they haven't seen before, only to see Ella walking behind him and Shadow behind them.

The Butler came forward and said "Young master my name is Wade, I will be taking care of you during your stay in the capital"

Derrick nodded and replied "My name is Derrick Dark, we would be in your care Mr Wade.
