The atmosphere within the house hung heavy with a sombre mood, the aftermath of Captain's harrowing recount of his worst nightmare. The trio seeking information on the Lunar Wolf Pack harboured diverse thoughts, but all shared a common desire for their Captain's team members to find peace in the afterlife.
"Stop wearing those glum expressions," Captain urged, breaking the silence. "The ones we lost always lived life with laughter. They'd hate to see us mourning. But it was too much for me, and I couldn't bear the weight of being the Captain of Nether Ashes Soldiers. Now, I live in this dishevelled house, trying to erase the haunting past."
"I won't let kids throw away their lives like that. But I see the determination in all of you. Despite this horrifying incident, you won't back down. You're willing to face the Lunar Wolf Pack. So, I'll train you until I'm confident you can confront the enemy," he declared.
The gloomy trio looked up, understanding the gravity of the responsibility laid upon them. "When do we start the training?" one of them inquired.
"Now," Captain replied, surprising them. They followed him out of the house.

**The Training Room**
"It's located beside the Nether Ashes Soldiers Office," Captain explained, "the building used by us soldiers during worktime and where all our important meeting places are."
"Are you sure our presence is not a hindrance to the Nether Ashes Soldiers? If we use it, then how will they be able to train?" one of the trio expressed concern.
"No worries, there are more than sufficient rooms for them to train. Occupying one room wouldn't affect anyone," Captain reassured.
Captain suddenly hollered, "Come in all of you."
Five individuals walked into the room ranging from different ages, sizes, and expressions. Behind them was another, and from the way he carried himself, he was someone with power and probably the head of the individuals before him.
"The man with green hair and wild nature said, 'Arjun, did you have to waste my precious time just to see small inexperienced runts.' Jasper had been closely observing them but he witnessed something that made him step back."
"The temperature in the room increased drastically as the hot woman dressed in red said, 'A change in environment can bring the best out of us. Besides, it's good to see the potential of the younger generation.'"
"'Are we charity to care for someone else? I don't care about them, but if they want to be pummeled by my fist, then they are most welcome.'"
"'You are always like this. Ruining the mood wherever you go. Would it kill you to stop offending anyone you meet?'" a blue-haired woman with the perfect figure, if it existed, said with a sensual voice. "The black-haired youth has unnatural eyes. He seems interesting."
The green-haired man's attitude flipped as he started fawning over the blue-haired woman. "Tara, don't bother with some lowly being. Your beauty and nature are to be worshipped by everyone. I would kill who says otherwise."
Rihan observed the Officers that rarely stayed in Nether Ashes, busy representing their village outside in Beasts Land. His eyes met with a pair of glaring eyes belonging to a man with partial white and black hair. He tried maintaining the stare but couldn't deal with the intensity behind them.
Rhea couldn't take her eyes off the blond man whose every move was filled with heroism and chivalry. She was hooked on the sensation that she felt while looking at him.
Jasper had a splitting headache disturbing him, but he occasionally looked at the white-haired goddess with a cold expression. He couldn't take his eyes off her face and the other phenomenon occurring only in his eyes.
"The man with blond hair, a firm body, and a heroic nature said, 'Suman, the inexperienced runts are children of the Village Chieftain.'"
Suman shut his big mouth after this revelation, looking at the trio in another light.
Jasper, Rhea, and Lynx sensed it immediately, the strength all of the new arrivals possessed. None of them were weaklings; instead, all seemed to be stronger than them.
"Hello, Captain. I acted as you instructed."
"Stop that. Arjun, you are now the Captain; call me by my name next time, Captain of Nether Ashes Soldiers."
"Sir may have resigned from the post, but it can't change the fact that you will always be my Captain."
"Fine, call me whatever you want."
"Putting chatter aside, Sir, what's your reason behind the order?"
"It's these 3 kids you see. I want them trained well enough to kill the Lunar Wolf King."
The Current Captain of Nether Ashes Soldiers responded with a 'What.'
"These kids have been tasked by the Village Chieftain to kill the Lunar Wolf King and its pack. I know they have been preparing to hunt it, so I asked for them."
"I never expected Sir to joke about something; it's amusing."
"This is not a joke; think about it with a rational mind. If you observe them, you will see the Village Chieftain's children are the ones we are training."
The previous Vice-Captain and current Captain looked closely at the trio, scrutinizing them from every angle possible. "Why is training them so important? There is no way they can kill something Sir and the Elite Team of Nether Ashes Soldiers couldn't. It would be a waste of time when my officers should be focusing on getting stronger."
"Look closely; two of them are the Village Chieftain's children. It would be doing a favor to him, and if he ordered this, then it could only mean he has confidence in their talents and potential. Besides, these 3 are daredevils raring to challenge anything with no fear. If left alone, they are sure to die. It would also be good for the officers to practice the basics once in a while."
"But..."
"C'mon, let's first have a look at their current skills before making the next judgment."
"As you wish, Sir."
Jasper, Rhea, and Rihan had formed a triangle of sorts talking about what the training could entail. It was more like Jasper doing most of the talking, and the two of them sharing their opinions with him. The two siblings refused to address or look at each other directly. On the other hand, the 5 Officers were busy with their antics.
Suman kept pestering Tara, who ignored him. Vanhi enjoyed his desperation and made fun of him, which made him angered.
Captain orders the trio to appear before him, "Your training begins from now on. Deal with all the challenges, till I am satisfied. Only then can you leave."
He leaves while the 5 Officers appear before him.
Jasper introduces himself, "Hello fellows, I am Jasper. Who may you be?"
Unfortunately, his introduction was ignored, but he knew what the first part of training entailed. "Listen up, the 3 you are going to fight with 1 of these 6 officers who specialize in a specific element of Magic. This will give us a good idea of your strength and potential, helping us plan a training regime suitable for you."
"Officers, this is training for all of you too. Only basic moves are allowed if any advanced
