"What's with that look now, Winifred?"

Blair's cheeks flushed, lips tilting upwards for some unspecified reason. She really had the weirdest reactions at the most random of times. Cadmus flicked her forehead, ceasing all those sappy thoughts at the same time.

'Because no, her parents' respect means a great deal to me, and I prefer for them to reciprocate the same respect.' In simpler words, her parents were cool people, he knew even though he only talked with them a couple of times, so he needed to be cool too.

One time, he had seen her father glower at any student approaching his daughter with negative intents, which was a trait he approved severely of, yet also one he preferred not to be at the end of the stick of, whereby he never was, but her father used to look at him like he was scrutinizing him.

Blair squinted and pinched Cadmus's nose. "Stop overthinking, Your Highness."

"How would you even know?" He blinked.
