Their families had their own ways of celebrating their graduation, but on the day after the ceremony and before the ball, the group of friends decided to gather together for a simpler party. 

When they pulled up at Moirai, there were still a few boxes piled up in the garage. Colt and the rest of the staff were in the backyard, setting up the tables and chairs. 

"What's the occasion?" Cadmus asked with raised brows, having been the only one who was left out during the planning stage. "Did we miss someone's birthday?"

Colt walked over. "I suggested holding a small party here for you guys, though the girls were really the ones who pushed it to happen." 

Cadmus grinned sheepishly in an unbridled show of affection. "I think I've never properly thanked you," he muttered before hugging Colt tightly. "For everything you've done for us."

"We may have drifted apart over the years, but I haven't once forgotten  about how grateful I am to you."
