Cadmus couldn't believe he'd really told Blair.

But there was no backing out now. In fact, this was the perfect time to say it.

"What do you say, Blair?" he asked, squeezing her hands tightly. He could feel himself getting more and more anxious by the second. He hoped she would accept, hoped she wouldn't turn him down. He would do anything to be with her. "Will you come live with me?"

Blair stayed silent, and Cadmus tried to understand.

He had kind of asked her out of the blue. She needed some time to process his proposal.

Still, he could not help but lean closer to her, his eyes searching hers.

"Blair," he whispered, caressing her soft, flushed cheeks. "I want to be with you. I can't stand living on my own anymore. I need you with me. I know all of this sounds a bit crazy, but I hope you'll understand, Blair. I want you to come live with me because I love you."
