Overprotective

The closer they got home, the more nervous Blair got.

She could feel her heart pounding loudly in her chest, a knot forming in her throat as her palms started to sweat. Every now and then, she would turn to look at Cadmus, who was sitting next to her in the backseat of the van. Unlike her, though, he seemed calm and unaffected while here she was dying of nervousness.

'I can't believe that he'll actually do such a thing. There's a high possibility that my dad won't approve.' And yet he was still willing to confront him in order for them to live together. Cadmus was determined to make this happen. He wanted them to live together now that he would move out of his dormitory. 'It sounds like a good idea, but will we really be able to do it? I mean, I'd been with my parents my whole life, and never had I thought I'd be moving in with my boyfriend someday.'

Blair hesitated at first to say anything to Cadmus's sudden offer.
