Dominant

I woke up when I felt someone licking my face. I turned around and pushed that thing away as I enjoyed my rest when I felt a slimy substance on my palm. I opened my eyes and let out a low groan in torment, realizing it was saliva.

“Yuck…” I murmured beneath my breath. I looked around, but my gaze ceased when it landed on a pair of enthralling eyes that were making my stomach feral and my mind impassive.

Then I keep in mind what happened before. Someone assaulted me. I was almost a goner when I saw a shadow of a man walking to my spot that turned into a wolf. I don’t know what happened after that, but something tells me from the scent of my hands the man is in a great place now.

“You’re not permitted to be touched by anybody, except me. I’m the one who will end your life.” he stood up and walked around, hands behind. Eyes are momentous. I bit my inner cheeks as I tried not to say anything. He spared my life, but for a distinctive reason. When he stopped, he didn’t turn around. His back remained in my sight.

“Sleep, we’re going to school tomorrow.”

Before I may even dissent, he strolled away and hammered the door shut, leaving me alone inside a room. I observed the area. I froze in my spot when I realized where I was. I know this room. I have been here before. My hands trembled when recollections of him slashed like an open ocean floor. I didn’t notice my tears were rolling down my cheeks.

I’m inside Nathan’s room. I don’t have any idea how he brought me here. It feels like recently we’ve been making love inside this room. I clenched my fist when I kept in mind he’s no longer here. He’s dead, and I can’t do anything about it.

Minutes after Ethan vanished, the entryway opened, and he went inside the room. He’s holding something, and he tosses it in front of my face. I get it off and look down on my hands, analyzing this.

“We’re going to school. Changed.” he hostilely muttered before going out again. I screeched when the door was nearly torn apart, and the floor shook lightly. I murmured when an extended silence grasped the corners of the room. Guess I don’t have any other choice then.

Whereas inside the room, changing, I look at my reflection. I look so worn out. From the puffiness and dark circle beneath my eyes, the weight misfortune, drying of lips…I don't look human at all. I couldn't help but feel sorry for myself. He saved my life, and I only have remaining days to live at any minute now. He can eat me alive, tear me apart, or toss my body into the sea.

I mean, his reason to spare me is he's the one who will murder me. He's a cursed serial executioner, after all. No one will know, so I got to make my days memorable.

I decided to fix myself a little, to look more presentable. I have been the school’s superstar since they saw how hard I tried to capture Nathan’s attention. It turns out his twin brother escaped from the Asylum and now is for the hunt to murder individuals. I ought to do something, but I’m anxious he will find out.

I jump in surprise when someone knocks on the door, impatient.

“You’re taking too long. Open this door.”

I hurriedly settled my hair, put a few powders beneath my eyes to cover up the dim circles, and put on some moisturizer on my lips to alleviate the crack lips. When I was satisfied, I opened the door, and before he could thump once more, his fist stopped mid-air when I got out. His eyes meandered on my face, observing and filtering each point of it before he looked away.

“Let’s go,” he murmured coldly, nauseating in his tone. I smiled to myself, pushing aside the thought of him, disgusted by my look before following him.

When we got outside, he passed by the car. I swallowed when I looked back. I remember Nathan driving on it. I remember the times we were just having fun with each other. I hope life is normal for both of us. But he’s gone, and I’m stuck with his wicked twin brother. I didn’t realize my tears were shaping, so I had to tap it gently to stop it from falling.

When we reached the school ground floors, students nearly broke their necks when they saw us walking. They began to whisper like bees while their gaze was following us. They probably think I’m still desperate to capture this man’s attention when in reality, I need help to elude his grasp.

“Natasha!”

I halted from my tracks when somebody called my name. I looked behind me and saw somebody recognizable running in my direction. When I saw his face, my forehead creased and my brow raised. Why is he calling me?

“Thank god I finally saw you. You look…” he stops himself and lets out an awkward smile.

“You look g-great…” he gulped the last words. At that point, he thrust up his eyeglasses. In case you don’t know him, his name is Carls. He is the president of our course. He sometimes talks to me for academic reasons. So, in brief, we’re not close, and I have an idea why he’s searching for me.

“I’m sorry, I’m just tired and haven’t slept in days so I’m going to take care of it soon whatever the hell it is.”

I know I may sound rude and all, but I’m not in the mood to interact with anyone right now.

“This ‘whatever the hell it is is our research composition. We ought to make a title and do a few background searches. If you don’t do your portion, I figure I’m going just to exclude you from the group, and you can do defense on your own.”

Oh, great. I was forced to grin. My life this past week has been revolving around Nathan, and I forgot that I’m a graduating student. I abruptly feel all the stress and weariness.

“I’m so-sorry-”

“What’s the problem here?”

I swallowed, and my eyes broadened in fear when I felt Ethan’s arms wrapping on my bear. I gradually looked up to him. He’s not looking at me, as his eyes are fixated on Carls.

“Oh, hello Nathan! I was just asking Natasha here for our research, but it looks like she’s not interested to graduate so I’ll just remove her-”

“Do it or I’ll kill you.”

“Excuse me?” Carls looks taken aback by what Ethan said. I argued him to see at me, but he moved his jaw and licked his lower lips. He inclined his face closer to Carls. His eyes are dull. He puts his hands inside his pockets.

“You heard me, I’ll kill you.”

“S-so she’s your girlfriend again? But everyone said that you’re pushing her-”

I shouted in stun when Ethan suddenly yanked his collars then lifted him until his feet weren’t reaching the ground. I held his biceps to let him go. He can’t kill somebody right here!

“Ethan-I mean, Nathan stop! No!”

But he didn’t listen as he kept choking Carls that’s coughing for air. He grasped Ethan’s hands, asking him to release him, but the man showed no benevolence as he attempted to kill him. Oh god! I have to do something to stop this!

“Nathan! Please! Stop it!” I punched him on his side as my tears started to form. I screamed and begged him as students were now hoarding and watching us.

“Is that Nathan? He’s bullying someone?”

“What happened to him?”

“Oh god, the dude’s face is turning violet!”

I quickly looked around, seeking out something to stop this. I saw a student drinking a bottle of water while on the other hand, holding a bag of popcorn while observing the situation before us. I snatched his water bottle. He protested, but I just rolled my eyes and then splashed the water into Ethan’s face.

The students gasped in stunned silence. My chest heaved a sigh of relief when he broke contact with Carls. He took off, not wasting more time running away from Ethan. He looked so stunned, I didn’t expect what I had just done to him. He looked at me, and his eyes turned cold.

“N-nathan-” he suddenly grabbed me by my elbow and dragged me away from the commotion. Students just followed us with their judging eyes.

"Let go of me, and I just save you from them!" I attempted to convince him, but he showed me his fangs, and his eyes turned red because of pure range. I didn't speak anymore, and I just let him drag me away. I had no thought where he was planning to take me, but my heart was beating with fear of what might happen.

He suddenly stopped, then he opened the door. He pushed me inside, making me almost falter on my feet, but he shoved my face on the wall as I felt his bulging thing poking on my butt.

“You humiliate me,” he whispered in my ear as his hands made their way up to my chest. I needed to pry away his hands on me, but he nearly broke my arm when he put it on my back, making me grunt in pain.

I let him do what he wants. I don’t have an escape plan. The room is malodorous and close to space, and it’s suffocating. I closed my eyes as I recalled Nathan’s sweet motions to me. He is tender to me. Each time he had the chance to touch me, he wouldn’t dare to bruise my body. Not at all like his twin. He’s brutal, assertive, cold, ruthless…I can’t keep up with his energy.

As always, he didn’t even come. He just stops, then puts on his pants like he didn’t make my legs weak, and my inner parts crumble. He dragged me again as we strolled side by side towards our lesson.

“Remember, Natasha.”

He touched my lips with his thumb as he caressed it softly and sweetly, whereas his eyes dominated my soul. He let out an enticing smirk.

“No one is permitted to talk to you, touch you, be with you, or look at you.” he inclined forward before our lips could meet.

“You’re my toy and I don’t want to share you with anyone. Or else…”

He showed me his sharp claws and pointed it down to my chest. He stops exactly where my heart is beating, then he pushes it through my shirt, making a hole.

“I’m going to take your heart.”
