His words rang through me as I struggled to get away from him. His grip was tight though and despite me being an alpha too I had never trained.
"Let her go." My brother gritted out. My hand extended in his direction desperately.
Mason shoved his head into my neck possessively.
"She is my mate and therefore I have a right to do with her as I please."
My father's growl rang out as he ran at Mason. Before I knew what was happening I was shoved to the ground. My ears rang and head stung from the impact. My gaze immediately went upwards to my father who was dangling in the air. Mason had his hand around my father's throat and had him in the air. Many alphas filed out of the building to watch the fight.
Two arms wrapped around me and yanked me back. I looked back at Sarah who was dragging me away into the woods.
"Stay quiet. We are gonna get you out of here."
I looked back ahead at my father who was now on the ground as Tristan ran at Mason in wolf form, just as she dragged me too far to see past the trees.
"Let go! I need to help Tristan!"
"it was his idea to make me take you away. Not only is it not ideal for you to have the cruel alpha as a mate but the whole reason we brought you here was to set you up with the alpha you were speaking with earlier and you going with your mate with negativity impact us. Think of the pack."
Her words struck me hard. Tristan hadn't been lying. He knew father's plan, and he was going to let him sell me off to another alpha. Him and Sarah had set me up. They made me think their gifts and help making me look good was them helping me get ready for my first dance but they were just making me look better for better marriage proposals. My stomach turned.
I thrashed under her grip and shoved her off me. I slipped free and rolled over onto my stomach. I quickly pushed myself off the ground. Sarah stared at me, she knew what I was going to do. I had nothing left at my pack.
"Think of the pack."
"I am thinking of the pack. I'd rather die than live with them and you and Tristan who only care about your dumb and cruel pack. As far as I'm concerned that pack can rot in hell."
I striped off the dress and quickly shifted, making sure to pick up my dress before running off through the woods towards my pack. I knew even if they took off towards the pack right then they would never make it before me. I was faster than the average wolf.
I made it in 30 minutes and wasted no time running inside. I avoided all the other wolves and booked it to my room. I slammed the door open and ran into my closet. I pulled out the only bag I had and stuffed a couple outfits into it quickly. I ran over to my drawer and grabbed out my books and a couple supplies I needed and stuffed them into the bag too.
I bolted out of the pack house before anyone even noticed me and made my way into the woods. I knew the area like the back of my hand and knew where each territory ended. I knew where to go and how to keep out of trouble. I would make a perfect rogue.
