Time to fill my day

3 days after my company went bankrupt, I filled my day with

wake up

take a shower

eat

sleeping for a while

eat

shower

watching television

eat

sleep

repeat all of this for up to 3 days, isn't it fun?

Many people think it's a lazy person's life, many people also envy this kind of life.

No dependents, no burdens, no problems for now, please underline for now.

By the way I'm starting to feel bored, I go to the kitchen to cook my lunch before I go back to my comfortable bed.

I didn't forget to turn on my telephone to fill the silence of my apartment, God I'm lonely.

"There are many discounts that we give for customers registering themselves as our special members at our bakery 'croustillant'" the voice of my television made me interested.

New bakery huh

Well, well, well, well, maybe I'll try to go there once in a while.

After I ate my lunch, I went to stop by the bakery in the advertisement, it was quite crowded, so I observed the people who had just bought their bread. Very interesting.

I walked around looking at the display of their bread in the display case, a lot of variety for a new shop, pretty bold. Why am I commenting on this shop like a food taster? Damn I forgot what I came here for.

I bought a chocolate donut, why do you ask? Chocolate donut is one of my favorite foods, more than chicken nuggets?

You know your limit, if I'm served chocolate donut and chicken nuggets in a restaurant, I'll finish whoever touches them.

On my way back to the apartment, I saw a little boy.

he sat next to the trash can, judging from the location there was a small hut for him to shelter in.

I approached him and greeted him

"hey kiddo want a piece" I gave one donut to him, he was surprised then got up from his sleep and took it.

"Thank you uncle" he smiled and continued to eat his donut until it was gone then he looked back at me.

"What, want another? Here you go" After giving him the second donut, I noticed his condition.

Thin and malnourished, like a man who starved for three days, I felt sorry for him. If I were in his position, I might have lost hope for life. Judging from his appearance, he might look 7-8 years old. You are a strong man, son.

After he ate his second donut, he stood up and went to his backpack, after a while, he got up. then he took two bottle caps and gave them to me.

"Thank you uncle, this is the payment for the donut" she held out her hand to me.

I was surprised by his action and touched. I squatted towards him and patted his shoulder.

"Son there's no need for you to pay me, just think of it as me giving you" I said with a smile.

"But uncle, my father said that whoever gives you something, you must return it with equal value" He looked confused at my response just now.

"Thank you then" I got up and stroked his head, then took two bottle caps from him, they weren't worth my donut but I was satisfied with this.

Saddened by the boy's condition I resigned myself to him to go home, after some distance I waved to him and he waved back.

"He's a good boy, I hope he's happy in his life" I whispered as I drove back to the apartment.

[Your wish has been granted. That boy will be the Minister of Health in 10 years' time]

What? A surprise of course, I'm happy if his life can be happy in the future.

After arriving at my apartment I returned to my cozy bed and stared at the ceiling. The donut was good.

7/10, the combination of bread and chocolate is not balanced, but that's okay, the important thing is that I shared it with the boy.

Maybe baking wouldn't be so bad after all, he hoped.

I then fell asleep

[Your wish has come true. The knowledge of bread is stored in your brain]
