Shun and Liqin were walking toward the base hallway toward the meeting room. Both of them were nervous since that incident might blow up Yami's cover.

"Shun, before we enter the meeting. Is there something you need to tell me?" Liqin stopped walking and faced Shun. His face looked calm, but his eyes were serious.

Shun bit his lips and thought of the words he was about to say. "Months ago, Ying appeared in our school, and we got involved with the bullies. That leads us to the forbidden area when a portal appears."

"Ah, let me guess. Ying was the one who killed the Raider?" Liqin chuckled while shaking her head.

"Yes, but we didn't realize the consequences at that time. I never thought a Combatant would arrive and inspect the dead Raider," Shun stated and groaned.

"Don't be so hard on yourself. You're still a trainee at that time," Liqin patted Shun's head with a huge grin.
