- Setting Sail

MC's POV:

The dawn of our departure finally arrived. It was a bittersweet moment as Ace, Luffy, and I prepared to set sail from Dawn Island. The day was filled with a mixture of excitement and sorrow, knowing that this would be the last time we would all be together on the island. The promise we made to leave at seventeen was coming to fruition, but our plans had changed.

Ace and I had decided to part ways to carve out our own paths. While Ace had always been determined to set out and make a name for himself, I had decided that it was best to pursue my own journey separately. I wanted to make a name for myself and build my own legacy before eventually reuniting with Ace.

Luffy, on the other hand, was devastated by the news. He had always looked up to us and wanted to join us on our adventures. The thought of being left behind was crushing for him. As we prepared to leave, Luffy's tears flowed freely, his sobs echoing through the port.

"I wish I was three years older!" Luffy cried, his voice breaking with emotion. "I want to come with you guys!"

Ace and I exchanged a glance, our hearts heavy with the weight of the decision we had made. We had spent countless hours training and dreaming about this moment, and now it was time to face the reality of separating.

"Luffy," Ace said, his voice gentle but firm. "We can't take you with us right now. You're still too young. But remember, you have your own dreams to chase. When the time comes, you'll be ready."

I placed a hand on Luffy's shoulder, offering him a reassuring smile. "We're leaving to make our names and prove ourselves. You'll have your own adventure soon enough. You're strong, Luffy. I believe in you."

Luffy wiped his tears, trying to put on a brave face. "I'll wait for you guys. I'll get stronger, and then we'll all sail together, right?"

"Absolutely," I promised. "We'll all sail together someday. But for now, you need to focus on becoming the great pirate you're meant to be."

With heavy hearts, Ace and I boarded our separate ships. We took one last look at Luffy, who stood on the shore, waving us off with a mixture of sadness and determination. It was a sight I wouldn't soon forget.

As the ships set sail, the wind carried us away from Dawn Island. Ace and I were filled with a sense of anticipation for the adventures that awaited us. Despite the sadness of leaving Luffy behind, we were both eager to embark on our separate journeys and make our mark on the world.

Ace's ship was stocked with supplies and ready for action. He was eager to explore new lands and face the challenges that lay ahead. I, too, was ready to set out on my own path, driven by the desire to prove myself and create my own legacy.

The sea stretched out before us, a vast expanse of possibilities. As we sailed away from the island, I felt a mix of excitement and apprehension. The world was waiting, and the adventure had just begun.

Despite the distance that now separated us from Luffy, I knew that our bond as brothers would remain strong. We had made a promise to each other, and no matter where our journeys took us, we would always be connected by that promise.

As the ships sailed further from Dawn Island, Ace and I prepared for the trials and triumphs that awaited us. The world was a vast and unpredictable place, but we were ready to face whatever challenges came our way.
