Crazy Bastard

The 8 gods: Pyro, Anastasia, Nami, Edward, Kane, Chiaki, Keldon, and Samson.

Legend has it that the existence of this world came from the cooperation of these 8 gods. Each of them rules a different dimension from this with Pyro overseeing this world.

Honestly, there are different versions of the gods as no one is very sure about the gods. They created this world and left it to Pyro billions of years ago. Some say that they sighted Pyro descending and drew the picture of Pyro. Although I am not very convinced, the appearance of Pyro is said to be a blond hair blue eyes woman wearing a white robe and wielding a spear. She is also known as the God of Reincarnation and Transmigration. Is that why cultivators that do not belong in my world started to show up thousand of years ago?

Outworlders that belong in a different world are also seen reincarnated or transmigrated into various people. Each of them has a unique power and system like mine that allows them to have a huge advantage over regular people in this world.

I sigh. Let's not think too much about it, I need to focus on the task at hand.

I scan through the cave and finally see a man sitting on a chair made out of skeletons. He is only wearing leather fur around his neck and pants. He has one eye patch on his left eye and a goat moustache with black eyes and spiky hair. Two women beside him are using some leaves to fan him and another woman is serving him some drinks. All three of them are shivering.

I touch Mina's arm with my elbow and tilt my head in the direction of the Chief Leader. Her anger worsen.

I nod at Mina.

"I want you to create a distraction when I give you the signal, shoot whatever destructive spells you have at the roof and allow the roof to cave in. Afterwards, continuously wreak havoc everywhere while trying your best to hide your presence. I will take care of the rest." I say.

Present

------------

Mina and I go our separate ways, I slowly climb down the high wall from the ledge to reach the base. Mina aims her hand at the ceiling, several magic circles appear around her wrist as a glowing bright sun charge up at her palm.

Seconds later, the sun flies towards the ceiling and explodes.

*BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!*

!!!!!!

All of the bandits stop what they are doing and look in the direction of the explosion. Before they realise it, the rock caved in and squashed several bandits under. Wooden infrastructures broke as remnants of rock crashed into them, killing whoever is inside.

Another explosion occurs in another part of the cave. Mina has unexpectedly teleported to another spot and is barraging them with unknown attacks.

"Who is it! Find the intruder!" Shouts a bandit.

However, the dust created from the chaos limited their sight and movements. As they try to set up a barrier to defend themselves from the rocks, I take the chance to secretly kill them in the dust.

"Someone-"

To prevent them from screaming, I cover their mouth and slit their throat swiftly.

"There are two intruders! One is among us and the other is on the ledge up there! Do not panic!" Shouts the chief leader.

His powerful voice roared throughout the cave, every echo as piercing as the last.

Argh... Fuck! My ears. I realise he imbued the sound with magic to damage my ears. However, the bandits are wearing some sort of device on their ears that blocks off the effects of that magic sound.

I endure the pain and continue slaughtering bandits. However, they have started to adapt. Doing their best to shout when I assassinate them.

The majority, however, were too focused on me, they forget about Mina. She constantly rains fire of hell from the above, killing whatsoever bandits.

Only about 20 bandits remain. Things are going well until someone suddenly grabs my neck from behind.

!!

I didn't even notice him!

It's the Chief Leader. He lifts my body as he smirks. Playtime is over. The rest of you, go after the mage, I will deal with this kid."

They nod and left.

I grab his hand as he strangles my neck.

Ack... Hard to breathe...

"Looks like a puppy trying to eliminate the Tiger Bandits, even if you kill me. There are still many 'Tiger Bandits' in the world."

Is he talking about the cult?

I smirk as foam starts to come out of my mouth.

!?

"Smirking in the face of death?" He says

"You...are the one going...to die."

With my shaky hands, I buy Qi Condensation pills from the shop and quickly pop them in my mouth.

?

I look up, the roof is gone, exposing the hideout to the sky. Perfect.

Suddenly, my body starts to glow.

"Hm? Trying to breakthrough? Do you think you can defeat me even when you did-"

The Chief Leader starts to hear sounds of thunder.

...!!!!

"Y-You bastard! You are breaking through to the next realm?! Let go! Get away from me!" The Chief Leader says.

My smirk becomes wider as I grab his arm when he loosens the grip on my neck. The sky above starts to darken as thunderbolts shoot out.

"FUCK! GET AWAY FROM ME!" The Chief Leader says as he takes out his sword and stabs it into me.

I cough out blood but I quickly buy the elixir pills and pop one in my mouth, the wound starts to recover.

"What the?! No!! Let go!!"

I plunge the sword deeper through me to prevent him from taking it out as I hug the Chief Leader.

"NO! NO!!!" The Chief Leader screams.

The reason why the Chief Leader is panicking isn't that I can defeat him if I breakthrough into the next realm, it is the heavenly tribulations every cultivator must face when they are trying to break into the next realm.

There is an unspoken rule to not be involved with someone's heavenly tribulation. Why?

First of all, cultivation is going against the will of Heaven. Thus, Heaven will send down bolts of thunder in an attempt to stop the cultivator from advancing further. However, if a much more powerful cultivator tries to help a weaker cultivator resist the heavenly tribulation, Heaven will be angry and the power of the thundershock will become 100 times worse, guaranteeing to kill both cultivators.

As long as another cultivator is within the range of the heavenly tribulation a cultivator going is through, it will be counted as that cultivator helping the other cultivator.

"You! If you want to die! Die yourself, don't drag me with you!!!" The Chief Leader says.

"HAHAHAHAHA!! YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO IS GOING TO DIE!" I shout.

Ten bolts of powerful thunder strike down at both of us.

"ARGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" The Chief Leader screams at the top of his lung in pain.

I endure the pain and with gritted teeth, pop another elixir pill into my mouth.

"Huff huff"

Wow. The Chief Leader managed to survive! As expected of a Core Formation.

!!!!

The Chief Leader widens his eye as he realises I am still alive.

"W-What?! How-"

Another wave of thunder strikes us. If I have died, the heavenly tribulation will stop. The Chief Leader seems to be enduring and betting on that fact, but he has miscalculated, I won't die so easily.

His screams of agony echo throughout the entire biome as fierce waves of thunder destroy the surrounding land.

I am worried about Mina but knowing her, she should be fine.

After 8 Waves, The Chief Leader fell unconscious but isn't dead.

Huff huff...

I pull out the sword in my abdomen and pop in another elixir pill.

...

After a while of silence, a pair of red eyes appear in the sky. I smile at it.

"Too bad, today won't be the day you kill me," I shout to the sky.

...

The red eyes disappear as the dark clouds dissipate, leaving only a void night sky.

I grab hold of the Chief Leader's sword and decapitate his head before placing it in my storage ring.

My head is throbbing with pain and my entire body is numb. As I collapse, Mina runs to me and grabs my body, helping me up.

"You crazy bastard! You call this a plan?!" Mina says.

With gritted teeth, she grabs my collar.

"Heh... Would I be able to defeat a core formation using normal and sane means?" I say with a smile.
