Cry of agony!

My whole body was trembling in deep pain, I couldn't breathe at all. My breath felt like it was stuck in my lungs unable to come out. My eyes were filled with despair and my face showed the immense pain I felt. I was completely pale as if all of the blood in my body had finished. My whole body was sweating in this anguish, I was struggling between life and death. Memories started flashing before my eyes, my promise to Rosanne, Edward and Alessio. A grieved teardrop left my eye, it shined bright when the golden ray of sun from the window contacted this pearl. Was this all my life? Am I dying? Leaving this world with my incomplete tasks? Will Edmondson and Lorenzo continue their cruelty? Will the people of Italy continue to suffer till the end? Will they all be like Alessio? Will the darkness keep dominating this world? Will those promises I made never fulfil? Will my duty here end, was I honest to it righteously? Is this the time for me to bid farewell to this world?

All the heartless riches who look like humans but immensely lack humanity were gathered around me and looked at me some surprised and some with contempt. Nobody dared to help a suffering being, but the man who was talking to Edmondson's man suddenly spoke in anger,

" What are you all looking at quickly take him to the hospital the man will die otherwise?"

Behind this loath crowd came a man and said hurriedly,

" I am a doctor let me check him, everybody please give him space to breath"

He checked my pulse from my jugular vein and listened to my heartbeat, the heartbeats were slowly fading.

"Is he still alive?" the man asked eagerly.

"Indeed but he would not for long, we need to rush towards the hospital." the doctor said in a lowered tone.

"Let's hurry up then," the man said passionately.

" Hospital is near sir, please accompany me to take him there." the doctor said while making me stand. I placed one hand on Doctor's shoulder and the other on that man's shoulder and barely walked while crippling. They both were the only humans whose heart was still filled with humanity. They both accompanied me in walking towards the carriage. They carried me inside the carriage carefully.

" Gentleman back to the hospital Quick!" the doctor ordered the horseman.

" Yes sir." The driver said loudly.

The driver pulled the head collar rope, and the horses raised their legs in the air and neigh loudly then they flew towards the hospital. My pain was getting worse and worse, blood was continuously coming out like a waterfall although the doctor was pressing the wound with the cloth forcefully. I was becoming paler because of the blood loss and my whole body was in an agonising condition.

" Hang on mate we aren't that far"

"hmm" I cried painfully.

Soon after we arrived at London's hospital, the Doctor jumped out of the carriage and rushed inside the hospital. He came back with some other people too who were holding a stretcher. The man carefully brought me outside the carriage and made me lie on the bed. My clothes, the white stretcher sheet, Doctor's clothes and that man's clothes were all imbued. The nurses came rushing towards me by seeing my terrible condition.

"Dr Thomas, what has happened to him?" One nurse came and asked.

" He has been shot by a gun, pulse is failing slowly we need to stop the bleeding now!"

They shifted me to the bed and started the procedure, the injected some kind of fluid into my veins. They checked my blood pressure and some other things but all the results were not in my favour of me. They hurriedly shifted me to the operating room. In the operating room, they anaesthetised me, and my eyes completely shut down. Suddenly I felt extreme pain and my eyes opened in shock. They were in the middle of the process of taking the bullet out of my chest.

"Relax and take a deep breath sir" the doctor instructed.

I took a deep breath and they were slowly taking the bullet out of my chest, I could feel it leaving my muscles tendon slightly, it was extremely painful. As they were pulling it outside I felt like dying with every single breath I took. I tried to endure the pain as much as I could, that moment death stroked my face. I knew it is my end, then suddenly I felt extreme pain and I roared in pain. The last thing I could see was the bullet which was held by a bullet extractor in Doctor's blessed hands.

I was in a room, which had a long bookshelf covering the entire wall and contained thick books. On a wall, there was a window beneath which was a wooden study table, which had a lamp on it and some books and a feather pen along with an ink pot. On the chair a lady was sitting only her golden locks could be seen from behind she was wearing a subtle pink attire. When I went near to her, she said

" Are you home Samuel?" the sweet vanilla scent and the honey voice were familiar and dear.

" Yes I am Rosanne," I said while smiling

She stood up from her chair and hugged me tightly, I could smell her wonderful scent.

" You did come back Samuel, I waited for you so long," she said I looked at her face and wiped the tear from her rosy cheek.

" Why are they tears in these sapphire eyes?"

" Because you left me" her sweet tone and innocent face charmed my heart.

" I had to my dear but now I would never leave you ever," I said and gently stroked her golden, silky-smooth hair. We both looked at each other our eyes filled with love for each other and time stopped for us. We were lost in the eyes of each other when I got stabbed from behind.

"AHHH" I screamed in pain, Rosanne's eyes widened with shock and a trailer her eye. I turned behind at saw a grudge-filled Alessio.

" How can you leave my family to suffer and live peacefully huh? If they will die you will die too!"

He struck the dagger in my heart and blood came out of my mouth. I fell on the floor in pain and agony, Rosanne took me in her embrace my eyes were stuck on Alessio who smirked wickedly after brutally killing me and left the room. I looked back at my dear Rosanne whose pearl- tear fell on my cheek, Rosanne,

" I am sorry Rosanne," I said while my tongue was trembling.

" No please don't leave me, please " she was crying continuously.

" Rosanne-" I cried in my last breath.

"NOOOOOOOO" She screamed her lungs out and burst out in tears.

My eyes opened in shock and I started breathing heavily. I saw multiple nurses and patients around and found myself lying on the hospital bed. I sighed with relief that it was just a dream or more like a nightmare. I turned my face towards my side and saw that man sitting.

" Are you okay?" He asked politely.

" Yes I'm better now thank you" I replied while smiling through the pain.

" Good to hear, no need to thank me I should thank you instead," He said abruptly.

"Why me?" I asked curiously.

" If you wouldn't come in front of me I might have died!" He said worriedly.

" I just completed my favour upon you," I said in a lowered tone.

" What do you mean?" He asked in a flustered tone.

" Nothing at all," I said casually to change the topic.

" How are you feeling now sir?" the young, charming and handsome doctor came and asked with a kind smile and gentle tone.

" Slightly better but I'm grateful that I'm alive. Thank you if you wouldn't treat me on time I wouldn't have been saved." I said in a grateful tone.

" I did what I should do as a doctor" He replied in a promising tone.

" Still it is kind enough for you to understand your duty and fulfil it" I sighed.

" No problem sir, but I want to ask something from you," He said while rubbing his chin and having a concerned expression on his face.

" What is it, you are free to ask?" I said replied.

" We searched for you and tried to contact your family but we found nothing, where is your family and who are you?"
