Present time.
A sigh left her lips on remembering those times. Those memories still stings like no other. However, she knew it was better not to think of those.
Memories were like salt to.her wound. Recalling them was like putting salt on the unhealed wounds.
Crystal tried to focus back on her makeup. She made sure to remind herself about her aim. Vow she made to herself on giving him the worst death known to humankind.
And to accomplish that vow she needs to be a seduire. She sat down back on her vanity table, and started to finish her makeup.
The pendant he gave her yesterday still hangs on her neck. Crystal didn't notice before but the stone looked like molten lava when light shone into it.
Just like the fire in her that wish for murder and nothing else. Once finishing off the makeup, she got up from her place and walked towards the door.
She had many times to leave through this door and was never successful. She had forgotten the world further after so two long years, she was finally going out.
With a deep breath she knocked on the door and within a moment she saw it open. The thought of seeing the outside world send her to ecstasy.
The corridor was simple, with two guards guarding her door and at the end of the corridor the lift was there. Before she was stopped before she could even touch the elevator door.
Crystal tried to keep her emotion in check, taking another deep breath as she took a step towards the elevator. No one stopped her when she walked into and pressed the key.
Once the door closed, Crystal heaved out a sigh in relief. Even though she knew no one would stop her anymore, the irrational continues to feed on her.

Silas changed into a new set of clothes in his office. The place was one of the hotels Silas owned. Crystal remained at the penthouse which was out of people reach with the only way to their being the elevator which was out of reach.
And the place was pretty popular, making it easier to not make anyone suspicious of anything.
"Did you do what I asked for?" Silas inquired, busy putting on his new shirt.
"Yes, sir. You can move there immediately." Alex answered his question in all honesty.
Silas didn't spare any glance on the worried face of Alex. Alex never liked Crystal, even knowing everything about them as he has seen Silas being ruined by that woman over and over again.
Silas never treated her unfairly. Other than letting her leave his side, he made sure to provide her with everything. He didn't even touch her. Always patient and caring.
But Alex couldn't help but feel spiteful when he sees how Crystal treats a man like Silas. If it was someone else who did that they would be in grave but she repeatedly insults his master and that makes him want to kill her then and there only if Silas allowed him to.
"Sir, do you really have to…" A sharp glance from Silas made Alex stop speaking further.
Silas sighed, he knew what Alex would say to him that he shouldn't marry Crystal. He doesn't deserve it. And all. But Alex still didn't understand if it's not Crystal, he needs no one.
She makes him want to become a better person just to stand beside hers. If there was no Crystal he would not have been alive this long. Even the whole emperor he created was all just to be eligible for her. Without Crystal there was no Silas.
Silas sighed and turned around walking past her. "The day you fall in love with someone you will understand my situation." Silas patted his shoulder and walked out.
Silas couldn't even walk out of the door when Alex declared,"That will never happen. I can assure you of that."
Silas said nothing and his lips curled up into a smile. He didn't even turn around to look at Alex; he just nodded to his word and left the room.
Silas knew why Alex said that. He can try explaining it to him but it will be useless. When you taste the drug name love only then you know what it meant. He wanted to see what would happen when Alex fell for someone.
Alex was left speechless by Silas's reaction. What was he thinking when he announced that to Silas? Did Silas think he was joking or didn't take it seriously?
Alex balled his fist silently gritting his teeth. He would make sure he does what he says. Love was the most absurd thing in his dictionary. It never brings joy, just pain and trauma that ruins not the one in the relationship but many others related to it.
Silas waited for Crystal in front of the elevator. It didn't take long until she reached the ground floor and the door was opened.
She stepped out, unaware of where to go when a hand suddenly pulled her in. For a moment she was shocked thinking it was some weirdo, her body alarm. But noticing it was just Silas she put her alertness down.
Silas pulled her closer, placing a soft kiss on her collarbone. "Scared you?"
Crystal pushed him back and smiled, closing the distance between them. She squeezed his cheeks a bit and whispered in his ear in a seductive voice.
"If you scare the bride, who will marry the groom?"
