Only him

Silas grinned at hearing her. "The maiden in my arms." He whispered softly before carrying her in his arms, princess style.

Crystal didn't stop him, and enjoyed the ride afterall poor guy will soon be bedridden begging for death.

Seeing Crystal staring at him like that, Silas couldn't ignore it. "That handsome?" His question made her smirk.

"Are you?" She hummed. She rolled her eyes over.

Silas didn't answer her questions, instead his finger pinched the side of her ribcage making her jerked up a bit in surprise.

"Of course, I am nothing compared to the lady in my arms." Silas chimed, putting her down on the ground.

He opened the door of the passenger seat of the car. Once she nestled in, Silas closed the door and went to the driving seat and seat himself.

"You are going to drive?" Crystal raised a brow, her body alert.

Silas chuckled seeing her reaction. He can see why she was being dubious of her driving. He had never driven a car in front of her.

Silas leaned closer to her, their face almost touching, taking her breath away. Crystal could feel the warm breath of his tingle into her skin.

She hunched back believing he was planning to kiss her. Her eyes instinctively closed, waiting for it to end. Unlike her expectations, he did nothing and a minute passed. And feeling nothing she finally opened her eyes to see him back at his seat, putting on seat belt.

She looked down at herself and the seatbelt was tightened around her.

"..." Embarrassment rubbed right onto her face. Crystal cleared her throat trying to keep her composure.

She faced herself towards the window, cursing herself under her breath. Why was she so nervous, was she expecting something? The thought itself balled his fist with disdain.

Silas grinned seeing her like that. He was right, she somewhere likes him. He just needs to spill her feelings out.

"You are not the guy i fell for." Those were the last words she said before disappearing from his life.

The words ache more than any physical pain even to this day. She was something he chose, someone he wanted to be selfish with. But when that person fell for your mask but not the real you. Was it really love?

The drive was peaceful and quiet. Crystal looked out of the window during the whole journey. Even though Silas wanted to talk about something, he didn't know what too?

For Silas, Crystal was someone that was always above him. She was the princess. Even talking to her, shames the land under his legs. The feeling that she deserves more than him scares him.

What if what he did was not enough? What if some guy she sees who is better than him takes her away from him? He can never stop it. Can he? The fear made him lock her away. How will she fall for someone if the only guy she sees was him and only him?
