The guardian of an ancient civilization

On the horizon rose horns as tall as mountains. They were four in total. At first, Igneous thought they were natural hills, but then he realized they were horns from what must have been the corpse of an ancient eon.

'I see why they call it the island of the fallen eon,' thought the boy.

Behind the horns, the sun rose, painting the sky a scarlet red. Igneous swallowed hard, because that hue seemed to be an omen of blood that was about to be spilled.

The boat got as close as it could to the edge of the beach. Then, Elian, Nahuel, Yaima, Igneous, and Gabu rowed in a small boat, from which they got out and touched the mainland.

Justan, the sailor demon stayed on the ship. On the other hand, Gabu said that he didn't want to risk his life, but he also didn't want to lose sight of his 'bodyguards'. "I'd better go with them," said the little furry creature.
