It’s clever, the way the small group of humans have set up their hideout. A tunnel has been roughly cut beneath the rubble of the store, following some of the main waterlines. The water drips from these corroding pipes still, giving the tight passage a damp, unwelcoming feeling. However, the tunnel angles to the left and then upward, and becomes steadily drier. 


I can smell them and hear them, this small group of people who’ve managed to stay in their city. We can’t get to them, however. A reinforced door, made of metal shelving units, is bolted into the wall.
