We had reached the massive walls that protected the City of Tria, standing grander than the walls around Vestful. But we couldn't go into the city right away, queueing in a line of carriages all wanting to go inside.
"What's going on? A line?" Elaine muttered to herself, steering Besi.
"So, I'm assuming that this is not normal?" I questioned.
"No. For the front gate to have a queue is a first. I know I've never had to wait to enter..."
Elaine's voice gradually subsided, her sights fixed on something ahead. I sat up, followed her eye line, and saw three men in silver-clad armor walking down the line with an orb. The guards made everyone touch the orb, and its color would change. The man holding the orb would say something, and the other one would note it down in a small journal he had and move down the line.
"Elaine, Lulu's Void Magic didn't appear in the orb in the guild. I doubt this tiny handheld one will pick it up either," I whispered.
