Ash is your typical high schooler who gets to class just as the bell rings, who spends his time earnestly learning…just between quick naps, and will do everything to defend those he loves. He shares his time with Lulu, Ash's mysterious childhood friend, who is nothing short of the word beautiful, personified with her snow-white hair and emerald green eyes. Her only oddity...no one seems to look at her but Ash.

Suddenly, their life of peace gets uprooted. A girl with heterochromia eyes abruptly teleports them into another world--one where the fantasy books Lulu loves to read are now her and Ash's reality. 

They have to decide: Is their blooming relationship towards each other and this new world worth clinging on to if it means leaving behind everything? Or will they go back to how things were in their dull reality where Lulu is an oddity once more?

"...I guess he does look a bit cute while asleep, Lulu. But I don't see it."


"What? He's adorable! Sometimes he even talks in his sleep, which is just the cutest. But there was the one weird time he called out my name, and when he woke up, his pan—"


"No!" I yelled, sitting up. "No! Stop! Not another word from you, Lulu! And you, Elaine. Stop taking advantage of Lulu's honest, free-spirited personality to listen to embarrassing stories!"


"Embarrassing? Like how you wet the bed until you were six? Or how you got so scared in a lightning storm that you p—"


I screamed, knowing someone other than Lulu and Pops knew about things I wished were forgotten to time. Elaine just laughed at my expenses. But I calmed down, composed myself, and noticed we were stopped and under the shade of a tall tree. 


"Yes, and please forget everything Lulu told you. And Lulu, stop telling her embarrassing stories for my sanity. Also, where are we?"
