Chapter 28: Hospitality

We all got out of the carriage and followed Elaine. The mansion had a beautiful white marble exterior and was wide enough to easily be the size of two blocks of homes. Gorgeous windows with various symbols, designs, and vibrant colors lined the five stories of the mansion.

But that was nothing compared to the garden in front of the house. As far as the eyes could see, every color under the sun was represented by some flower in the majestic garden. Monumental golden fountains were scattered around the garden, spraying water over the flowers.

The whole place was just so gorgeous to look at that I hadn't even noticed that we were already at the door. Elaine stepped to the foot of the door, and it began to open. I could start peeping inside as it swung out, and I straightened my posture to Lulu's amusement. But I felt like I had to, just like how I knew that the day would be one crazy ride.
