Chapter 30: Beautiful

The sound of the woman's heels before me kept echoing in my mind even when she stopped. She had kept her eyes down to see where she was walking but stopped. She glanced up at me.

I was met with green, emerald green eyes, the type of green from a forest untouched by men, eyes that could pierce light into any void.

Her snow-white hair was braided up nicely and held together by the blossoming white tulips she had always loved. She was wearing a black shoulderless dress that nearly reached the floor.

I could only describe it as I saw it, a dress fit for an actual princess.

No, more than that. A queen? A goddess?

I placed my hand on my heart as I couldn't feel it thumping anymore. It was racing so fast that I couldn't feel it anymore, and something bubbled into my mind as I stared.

There stood a woman so beautiful, it hurt to look at, and the one I loved.
