Ash is your typical high schooler who gets to class just as the bell rings, who spends his time earnestly learning…just between quick naps, and will do everything to defend those he loves. He shares his time with Lulu, Ash's mysterious childhood friend, who is nothing short of the word beautiful, personified with her snow-white hair and emerald green eyes. Her only oddity...no one seems to look at her but Ash.

Suddenly, their life of peace gets uprooted. A girl with heterochromia eyes abruptly teleports them into another world--one where the fantasy books Lulu loves to read are now her and Ash's reality. 

They have to decide: Is their blooming relationship towards each other and this new world worth clinging on to if it means leaving behind everything? Or will they go back to how things were in their dull reality where Lulu is an oddity once more?

Lulu got up from her seat. Elaine's face flooded with tears as she believed Lulu was leaving, and her fear that we wouldn't accept her was coming true. 


But if Elaine only looked up, she'd see Lulu walk around the table. Lulu bent down, hugged, and startled Elaine simultaneously. She was so stunned that she popped out an expression of shock bigger than any I had seen. 


"Stop! Don't I'll taint you!" she yelled, trying to get Lulu off her. "W-Why are you not scared? Why don't you hate me for lying to you? How can you be okay with this, Ash! I'm a demon, hated by humans! I taint your very souls just by being near you!" 


"Oh? So that's why you're so beautiful," Lulu said, pushing Elaine to look at her. "Don't you agree, Ash?"


"I feel like this is a trap, so I'm going with no comment. Sorry, Lulu." 


"Just tell her she's beautiful, Ash! Jeez, it's just a compliment."
