Ash is your typical high schooler who gets to class just as the bell rings, who spends his time earnestly learning…just between quick naps, and will do everything to defend those he loves. He shares his time with Lulu, Ash's mysterious childhood friend, who is nothing short of the word beautiful, personified with her snow-white hair and emerald green eyes. Her only oddity...no one seems to look at her but Ash.

Suddenly, their life of peace gets uprooted. A girl with heterochromia eyes abruptly teleports them into another world--one where the fantasy books Lulu loves to read are now her and Ash's reality. 

They have to decide: Is their blooming relationship towards each other and this new world worth clinging on to if it means leaving behind everything? Or will they go back to how things were in their dull reality where Lulu is an oddity once more?

Three hours had passed since I entered the room. My heart had long settled, but I had yet to fall asleep. I had already taken a bath, thinking maybe some hot water could help, and changed into clothes more suited for sleeping than a suit, but nothing.  


I had fallen asleep earlier, so maybe I wasn't tired, but my constant yawning told another story. I was definitely exhausted and wanted to sleep, but I couldn't. I began to consider other ways to fall asleep and why I couldn't get myself to relax when Lulu's face popped into my mind.   


"Ah...I see. It's the first time we've ever slept apart at night?" I said to myself. "To think it would be something so simple."


I couldn't help but wonder if Lulu had the same problem, as I felt my heart start to beat as I paced the room. I began to think of somewhat irrational ideas as I tried to remember precisely where Lulu's room was.
