Ash is your typical high schooler who gets to class just as the bell rings, who spends his time earnestly learning…just between quick naps, and will do everything to defend those he loves. He shares his time with Lulu, Ash's mysterious childhood friend, who is nothing short of the word beautiful, personified with her snow-white hair and emerald green eyes. Her only oddity...no one seems to look at her but Ash.

Suddenly, their life of peace gets uprooted. A girl with heterochromia eyes abruptly teleports them into another world--one where the fantasy books Lulu loves to read are now her and Ash's reality. 

They have to decide: Is their blooming relationship towards each other and this new world worth clinging on to if it means leaving behind everything? Or will they go back to how things were in their dull reality where Lulu is an oddity once more?

Death's Caver was about a day away in the wagon. I was worried that Besi wouldn't be up to it, but when we got to her, she was back to peak performance. We began our journey and started talking about our strategy as we all took out our Status Tablets to see the best layout.


Elaine, of course, mumbled about how even Ace got one faster than her, but we quickly began to share. Lulu was already at a staggering level 15 making Elaine's eye twitch as she questioned how Lulu could jump so many levels so quickly. Lulu didn't have an answer, but I assumed it was because of all the tests she ran on her magic.


Elaine glared at me, expecting me to say something similar. But I had to disappoint as I was at level 12 after all this time, and Elaine commented that my progression was much more reasonable.


Elaine was still at level 18 and a bit grumpy about saying it aloud. Ace was surprisingly only at level 10, and Tank was at a mind-blowing, well, Elaine's mind-blowing, level 25.
