And just like everyone deserves a second chance, Simon got his second chance as well after he went back in time as a child  and, hence, began the game of revenge.

When Simon woke up the next time, it was quiet in the room. He looked to his side and saw Devon with his head down, sleeping.

He didn't find his father or Rune, so he suddenly got up and his movement also woke up Devon. "Lord Simon, you are awake."

Simon asked him, "Where are my parents and others?" his throat ached but he couldn't care less about it. His voice also came out as weird.

Devon blinked. "What are you talking about?"

Simon grabbed his shoulder and shook him. "Where are they, Devon?" he screamed and felt salty blood in his mouth. It was not good for him to speak so much, but he did not care.

Devon was shocked when he was being yelled, "Duke and the others have gone to attack the palace!"

Simon's eyes widened and he quickly stood up and so did Devon, 'What are you doing? You will get hurt?"
