The Legion's Call

"Where have you been?" A sharp voice stopped Sue Terin from her tracks. She was about to enter her depleted courtyard to spend her night in a long bath when an annoying voice gave her an idea.

Sharply looking back in the direction of the voice, Sue was met by the most annoying face next to Lucien Lupine — it was a frowning Lucca Lupine. "What? What do you want? Tired playing fetch with my stepsister?"

"Mind what you are saying!" Lucca pointed his finger at Sue. His finger loomed over her face, an inch distance to be exact.

"Or what? What will you do?" Sue stepped forward. Her cheek made contact with his finger.

On instinct, while staring at Sue Terin's eyes, Lucca took a step back. But Sue never stopped her advancement. She took another forceful step before she grasped his finger.

Crack!

The sound of a bone cracking resonated in the empty courtyard followed by the shrilling scream of the Lupine heir.
