Sue Terin The Pauper

The last thing Sue Terin remembered she was bathed with sweat and her body was being wrecked by pain. She could even swear that she felt her soul being ripped apart and stitched back again like a vicious cycle called rebirth. She did not know what to think anymore.

Sue Terin did not think that sealing her human lineage would be that painful. It was as if thousands of claws were tearing her skin and flesh while millions of ants were biting her nerves – it was the personification of 'living a life far worse than death'.

For a moment, Sue Terin wanted to end it all – her sufferings and her life. And when she was about to give in to that temptation, she was pulled back… and here she was right now, simply on the verge of waking up.

And so, she opened her eyes.

The first thing that came to her mind was that the Wisteria Trees were upside down.
