A Fairy...

We went through the ground to the main road. I was surprised how advanced yet backwards the civilization was. The roads were paved and made of stones but traffic was only pedestrians and horse drawn carriages. Houses were made of stones and wood, they even painted it with various colors. Once a while I could see the skills and magic being at use. Some carriages were drawn by earth golems, cleaning the shops and houses with air magic, some weird birds were going from here and there carrying stuff and paper rolls, fire magic being used on stalls. I even saw a shop where the shopkeeper lady was in humanoid form of a tiger, I was surprised as hell. I asked rahil and he said it was a skill called beastling, many people are born with different versions of this skill so half animal people were normal sight. Then I remembered one of our family skills: Beastling V. Phoenix. I asked him if that was common too but he laughed and just said " how could that be possible ? Phoenix are mythical creatures….a mythical version of beastling is without a question S rank skill… !! "

We ate some chicken skewers and jelly like stuff, it was delicious. Then finally we found a blacksmith shop so we went in. It was filled with various weapons. There was stuff I didn't even know existed as weapons ! A muscled man with a working apron came towards us after watching us come in.

" Hey, kids are not allowed here ! If you want a weapon then you must come with your parents or an adult. " He bellowed while making a hand gesture saying get out.

" We are not here to buy…" I said calmly.

" Then stop wasting my time. I can't hire you, come back when you are 13…"

" We are not here for work either… Just hear us for a second will you ? " I said a little louder so he finally stopped shoving us out of his shop.

" We want to sell some weapons and equipment. Will you buy it ? " I continued.

" Buying from you kids ?? I am not interested in stuff from those bunnies from the ceremony…." He said.

" How about you check our product before deciding ? " I said.

" Okay whatever show me what you got…Where is it outside ? " He asked.

" Just a minute " I said.

I said high space like a chant and a window like stats window opened. It had Icons of things I had stored inside. There were names too beneath them, but for only those that it recognized others were just mentioned as unidentified objects. I touched the iron sword icon and all the iron swords with their own names and icons came up. The same type of swords were just shown as numbers besides their icon. I touched one random sword and dragged it out of the window and the sword materialized in my hand which I had used to drag it out. I gave it to the blacksmith.

" Ohh it's a fine piece ! It couldn't be from the wild bunnies…Where did you get it ? " He asked after analyzing it for a while.

" A fairy left it in our home." I said very seriously. I could see a vein popping out on his forehead.

" Fine wherever you got it from….It doesn't matter to me. 15 silver coins.. " He said.

" 30 silver coins " I said.

" It's little damaged in certain areas….20 silver coins "

" Okay how about this ? If you give me 25 then I will give you many more weapons and equipment, some new, some even better than this and many of the same quality too…plus I will show you something very interesting if you can buy it…. "

" Same as this you say…how many are there ? I will have to check to determine the price. "

" No you don't, didn't you listen ? 25 silver for each piece and everything is yours….I have 118 weapons and 200 equipment pieces. "

" That many ??? Is that a storage skill ???! "

" Tell me where you want to store them. You can take a look after I remove them, but we don't have much time. Though I can guarantee each piece is the same as this or even better. " I said.

" I can't just buy anything without looking and what was that special thing you were talking about ? "

" I will give you 15 minutes to look at them as I remove them from my storage. If you buy them only then I will show you the special item…" I said.

" Uhhmm okay. Come here, put them here in this room. " He said as he led us to an inner room.

I started removing all the stuff and he just looked at me with his jaw dropped. I could see his expressions change as he started examining the stuff. I knew some of them were worth way much more but we didn't have much time to find out we needed to buy books too and go back as soon as possible. After some 10 minutes he came hopping to us.

" Ohh you kids are really something…Where did you find this much amazing stuff ? " He said happily.

" A fairy…." But he cut me off.

" Still sticking to that huhm….Well whatever I will buy them all. I don't do this normally but come to me from now on with anything you want to sell and I will give you 30 silver each for this one too…" He said. Ohhh he was offering more now that was unexpected. He was a good guy after all.

" Ok sure. Wanna see the special item now ?! " I said being all mysteries.

" Ohh yes ! What else you have now…uhm what's your name ? " He asked.

" Vritra " I said.

" Vritra !? that's a weird name…well miss vritra anytime you want to buy or sell you are welcomed here…!"

" Oh thanks. What's your name sir ? " I said.

" Boros Malvikan " He said.

" Nice to meet you sir…" I said.

" Ohh you too ! you tooo ! " he said.

Then I removed the pendant from my high space and gave it to him. He kept turning it around and checking the craftsmanship. I could see he was impressed. Then he opened its stats and his face turned white.

" Where…how !? This is a rare item !!! " He shouted.

" Yes, we know. "

" Just who are you kids ? "

" Two humble customers…" I said with a smile.

" How much do you want for this ? " Oh he was a businessman all right. He regained his composure in seconds.

" We don't know what the item is worth….but with effect like that at least a few hundred gold coins right ? "

" Ohh.. This kind of thing is rare but it's highly expensive too so it's hard to sell…. I will give you 60 gold coins…"

" Neff an item with effect is not worth more than 40 or 50 gold coins " rahil whispered in my ears. Oh he was being more than fair, I guess restoring stamina was a very rare effect.

" 80 coins and it's yours…" I said

" That's too much….65 at most…"

" Hmm how about 62 coins and any two items we choose from your shop… "

" Uhhm…Okay but nothing more costlier than 2 gold coins per item "

" Ok deal " I said.

" Deal ? "

" Ah I mean I accept…"

" Ohh okay I accept as well. "
