Krigara

I started looking around his shop, Rahil was behind me too.

" You can choose one.." I said.

" Ohh thanks "

We started looking and trying all sorts of weapons and equipment. Rahil chose some staff that magicians use priced at 2 gold coins. But I couldn't find anything that would suit me. At last, I saw a wooden box, it was dusty and premium looking. I opened it and it had the most amazing sword I had ever seen. The metal was dark blue/black color same as that knife that I had. So I asked the blacksmith,

" What's for this one ? "

" Ohh no no ! It's my most expensive sword - I call it the iron maiden. No one has bought it for years though, the price is 400 gold coins. It has no effect only a true swordmaster can use it properly."

" What is this metal? I have never seen anything like it…"

" Of course, you haven't…its krigara. It's unbreakable, unburnable, and the hardest metal for a weapon. "

" The metal is rare ? "

" No, the metal is very common. But the weapon is. It's unburnable means you can't shape it. This one is a dropped item. There is no way to mold the krigara. "

" How unbreakable are we talking ? "

" It's used to shape diamonds, it can withstand S rank magic some say even R rank magic…. "

" how do you know that if it is not so common ? "

" The first king's battle lance was made of krigara…"

" Ohh !! " Shit now that's some serious stuff.

It was said that the first king's battle lance was stored on top of his grave in one of the seven wonderment - The unspoken burial. It was so heavy that not even people with beast-like strength could use it properly. It had an effect that allowed users to fly but it was so heavy for people that no one had used it for thousands of years.

I touched the sword and it shimmered in blue.

" Can I use it for 2 minutes ? I won't buy anything else just give me this for two minutes…." I said.

" Two minutes for two gold coins ? What will you do with it ? "

" I just want to check something…"

" Fine with me. It is too heavy though even buff guys can't use it properly… "

" Rahil spar with me for a minute…" I said and led him into the inner room.

" Neff you can't use it…it's useless…I know it sounds cool about the first king and stuff…but it's impossible…"

Rahil was muttering something. But I paid no mind to him, I placed my hand on top of the sword and absorbed it….it didn't even give 8 magicules ! Then I conjured the same copy with my skill in just 13 magicules ! I could remember the material and shape of anything once I absorb it and create the exact replica if the magicules cost doesn't exceed my max capacity. I conjured five different types of blades with the same metal….hovering beside me weightless….I could make and use the strongest swords…in less than the cost of even iron !!!!!

I gave the old sword's copy back to Boros. And said our goodbyes. Then we went walking straight to a bookshop.

I could make the strongest weapons! And not just weapons I had learned to create various equipment pieces by absorbing them to match my fake skill details. In theory, I could make the strongest armor in the world. I always felt that my skill was tailor-made to suit me. And not just my skill, all the skills I know with their user were perfectly matched with their needs or personality. Like mother and her spider, Zhira with her sword god, Rahil had a questionable skill but still my theory seemed very sensible.

We reached the book store and we just went wild. We visited five to six bookstores and bought more than 200 books old and new. Rahil was almost glowing in happiness and I was over the skies too. After all the shopping I stored everything in my high space. It was 5 in the evening and we were finally ready to go home.

We went back to the outskirts of town. The big ground we had seen before was now overcrowded with kids. All of them trying to kill the bunnies and some adults once in while keeping them in check. The ground was filled with bunnies hopping around, they looked cute from far but they had very sharp teeth. We stopped at the sides to take a look. Then I asked Rahil,

" Hey, Rahil isn't there something like this ceremony for us ? "

" you mean a first hunting monster for noble kids ? No, everyone just goes out in the wild whenever they are ready. Always with entourage though."

" How old are these guys? " I asked.

" Normally it should be 5 years old but most people send their kids as soon as they learn to use their skills, for commoners this is one of the major sources of income, some families have to scramble for every meal trying to kill monsters….their kids well…they kind of have this burden for participating in this ceremony and try to obtain as many drops as possible. " He said in detail.

" Wow…you know a lot about this.." I said.

" We used to play with other kids in our neighborhood, I just observed their situations. " He said cheeks flushed.

" They have it tough, hm ! "

" Well mostly but not always…most of the kids are very excited to level up. And the lord of the area has to manage a researcher to translate their stats for the first time, so for most its the first time knowing their skill and using them. Children are always excited for that. " He said.

" You say that like you are not one of these children…" I said and saw him turn red.

I focused on the ground and kids were doing all sorts of things. Some had small dagger-like things but most of them used sticks. They kind of looked divided into groups and each group had one adult as supervisor. One of the noisiest groups caught my attention. All children were like grouped behind this one kid. And this one kid was going wild as all the children cheered for him. He had blond hair and a little machete-like weapon in hand. He was attacking like crazy without any form or technique but his every blow was so powerful that it sent bunnies flying. Bunnies just accidentally crashed into other bunnies yet even they died. He had some serious power alright !! I was impressed. I wanted to see his stats. Then my eyes fell on this one girl fighting alone in the corner away from everyone. The strangest thing was that she was the only one who wasn't using any skills. Just normal thrashing with the stick and yet she was fierce, her red hair flared in the air when she attacked and jumped and dodged. She was the best in technique but her attacks were almost meaningless. Where most kids killed the bunny in two or three attacks she used more than six or seven. And when she was attacking for the third or fourth time most bunnies just ran away from her or other kids killed them. It looked so frustrating, but the girl never looked twice at the one who ran away she just attacked and attacked if one runs away attack another one if even that one runs away then the next one. The boy had outstanding power but the girl…the girl had something much much more valuable - The unyielding resolve.
