Ava's POV.
Logan pulled over in front of my apartment mid day the next morning and I hurried up to my room to shower and get changed before packing a few things for my trip back home.
We didn't speak much on our way back and I could tell he was still brooding over my decision not to have me follow me back to my parent house.
As much as I would love to have him there, I also know, it was better to have this conversation without him as well. Somehow, I feel this trip home might not end well and it would be best not to have him around at my worst. I rather have a reason to run back to him than have him in the middle of a fight with my parent.
Gosh.
I was still busying around with packing before I looked up to find him leaning against the door and watching me. I didn't even hear him come in. I felt his presence only slightly before I realized his shadow right there.
"Hey" I breath out.
